Neat but shallow. Watching this little world in a bottle go through years of conflict is kind of neat but I think the timescale is totally off and the lack of control over parameters is kind of dull. There could be way more to this game and if you're going to use AI then it could be generating all sorts of information about trade, military, religion, alliances, holidays, cultural keystones and more. Still a fun little idle game but I wouldnt buy it if it isn't on sale.
Want to watch a digital map burn to ashes? Welcome home. Everyone else: run for your lives! Literally three seconds after hitting start, 30% of the world has already declared war on each other. Tiny, completely meaningless icons swarm across the map like angry ants. Spoiler alert: whoever brings more ants wins the fight. Your glorious role as a player? Messing around in the configuration menu (let's be honest, it's just a cheat menu). You get to magically spawn armies, click tiny buffs for leaders, force awkward alliances, and aggressively meddle in global diplomacy. If you came here to peacefully build a beautiful world, think again. This isn't a world Simulator it's just a global bar fight in map mode.
I quite like this game. I do think there is still more to be desired, HOWEVER, I do see the roadmap the dev has in mind and it excites me to see what will come yet in the future. I do find this game quite satisfying. One thing that would be nice to be able to do would be to have the ability to manually expand certain families territories in the family view of territory just like how you can manually expand a country's territory. Looking forward to future updates!
Can this game integrate with large AI models? It might make the gameplay far more engaging!
