tldr - Hard but not unfair game with fantastic replay, could sink a LOT of hours into it. Awesome apocalypse setting. Fun characters and not overly complicated. Amazing sound track. Has a surprising depth to it. Worth every cent and deserves a 10/10 My full review/little story on why I love it. Nuclear Throne is a game I bought years and years ago because it was everything I ever wanted in a post apocalyptic game. Crazy mutants, crazy mutations, and a ruined but interesting world with no humans. I booted it up and found out it wasn't playing when it said that it was hard, I promptly put it down. It wasn't till a long time later that I would pick it up and fell in love with it all over again. Nuclear Throne is the easiest game to pick up but hardest to put down, you always want to do one more run, reach further then before. For a small game, it sure hides a lot for you to discover, which was made it the perfect game to play during my worst moment in life ever. I was real miserable during one time in my life, absolute bottom of the barrel. Luckily I was kindly gifted a new laptop and could play Steam games again. Decided to give this game another shot and it was one of the best distractions ever. I started flying through the achievements and uncovering so much, it gave me something to strive for every day. Nothing was better than reaching the end and knowing the struggle was over, just like in real life. This game really got me through the worst time of my life, and I could never be more thankful for such a fun, ball busting, heart racing game. If you're looking for an easy game to pick up, but hard to put down game with dept to it and real good difficulty, then get this game. It's worth every penny. Here's to another 10 years, Fläshyn!
