Hello! I had a lot of fun with this game, and I am leaving a good review. I hope more people find this game... I got to be one of the first to play it. This is a multiplayer player FPS and platforming game. Play with other friends wherever they are over STEAM! The levels are really cool.
In the first 5 minutes an enemy launched themselves mach 10 at me and I nearly browned myself. Great movement tech and level design. LOTS of ways to speedrun and optimize

Very fun platformer, I like how I can go zoom all over the place. I also like the infinite ammo.
I don't often find myself pondering the inquiries of sick speedrunning travel. The intricacies that this game provides are like an experience that none other game can provide. This defies the limits between an awe inspiring moment, and what one would define as a game. Why are you blue?
I was looking for a game that was just really fun but also challenging. My favorite level was the lava level with the bouncy mushrooms. Great job!
Green with joy and giddy. If your looking for a BAD time, boy oh boy don't download this hunk o junk! I started screaming my lungs out in frustrated ecstasy after I once again did not account for the loss in momentum. Extremely quick addiction factor, and I am excited to see more PvP action.
I expected more sheep?
Nova Jumper is a first-person platforming adventure developed and published by Paul DeAngelis that combines high-mobility traversal, arcade-style challenges, light combat mechanics, and cooperative multiplayer into a colorful and accessible experience. While its premise revolves around a seemingly simple mission to recover a lost sheep, the journey quickly evolves into a globe-spanning adventure across imaginative worlds filled with obstacles, enemies, and environmental challenges. The game embraces a straightforward design philosophy focused on movement, exploration, and fun, creating an experience that feels refreshing in its simplicity while still offering enough variety to remain engaging throughout its campaign. The story begins aboard a spaceship where the protagonist discovers that an important sheep has gone missing. What follows is a pursuit across multiple dimensions connected through mysterious portals. Rather than emphasizing complex lore or dramatic storytelling, Nova Jumper uses its narrative as a framework for introducing players to a series of increasingly creative environments. The simple objective works surprisingly well because it allows the game to focus its attention on gameplay while maintaining a playful and lighthearted tone. Movement is the true star of the experience. From the opening moments, players are encouraged to run, leap, and navigate challenging environments using a variety of platforming techniques. The controls emphasize momentum and precision, rewarding players who learn how to move efficiently through each stage. Traversal feels satisfying because the game is designed around constant motion, encouraging players to approach obstacles with confidence rather than caution. As levels become more demanding, mastering movement becomes essential for progression. One of the game's most appealing qualities is the diversity of its environments. The adventure spans numerous distinct stages, each introducing new visual themes and gameplay concepts. Rather than relying on a single style throughout the campaign, Nova Jumper continuously presents fresh scenery and mechanics that keep the journey feeling dynamic. This variety helps maintain player interest and creates a sense of anticipation regarding what the next portal might reveal. Environmental mechanics add further depth to the platforming. Certain stages introduce special features such as gravity manipulation, launch pads, moving platforms, and unconventional transportation methods. These additions prevent the gameplay from becoming repetitive and encourage players to adapt their movement strategies. The game consistently introduces new ideas without overwhelming players, ensuring that progression feels natural and rewarding. Although platforming remains the primary focus, combat also plays a meaningful role. Various enemies populate the worlds players explore, attacking with projectiles that require quick reactions and careful positioning to avoid. These encounters create moments where traversal and combat merge together, forcing players to remain mobile while managing threats. The resulting gameplay loop feels energetic because survival depends on movement as much as offensive capability. The projectile-based enemy design introduces an element of bullet-dodging that distinguishes Nova Jumper from many traditional platformers. Rather than simply jumping between platforms, players must often weave through incoming attacks while continuing to advance. This added layer of challenge keeps players engaged and prevents the gameplay from becoming overly predictable. The level structure is another strength. Each stage is built around reaching a portal that leads to the next area, creating a clear objective while allowing room for experimentation. The straightforward progression system makes the game accessible to newcomers while still providing enough challenge for experienced platforming fans. There is a satisfying rhythm to learning a level's layout, overcoming its obstacles, and finally reaching the exit. Cooperative multiplayer significantly enhances the experience. The ability to explore worlds and tackle challenges alongside friends introduces a social element that complements the game's lighthearted nature. Cooperative play often transforms difficult sections into opportunities for teamwork and shared problem-solving. The simple objective structure also makes it easy for players of different skill levels to enjoy the adventure together. Customization options contribute additional personality. Players can alter their appearance through different skins and color variations, allowing them to create a unique look while exploring the game's many worlds. While customization is not a major gameplay feature, it adds charm and helps strengthen player identity, particularly during multiplayer sessions. The inclusion of virtual reality support demonstrates a level of ambition beyond what many indie platformers attempt. Experiencing the game's environments and movement mechanics through VR creates a greater sense of immersion and scale. Although the standard version remains the primary way most players will experience the game, the VR option provides an interesting alternative that expands the title's appeal. Visually, Nova Jumper embraces a bright and colorful art direction. The environments are easy to read, the hazards are clearly communicated, and the overall presentation maintains a cheerful atmosphere. The stylized graphics fit the game's adventurous tone perfectly and help ensure that gameplay remains the focus. While the visuals are not designed to push technical boundaries, they effectively support the game's accessible and energetic nature. The soundtrack and audio design further reinforce the experience. Music accompanies the action without becoming distracting, while sound effects provide satisfying feedback during jumps, movement, and enemy encounters. Together, these elements help create a cohesive atmosphere that complements the game's fast-paced gameplay. The game's biggest limitation is its relatively simple structure. Players seeking deep narrative complexity, intricate progression systems, or extensive character development may find the experience somewhat lightweight. However, Nova Jumper never attempts to be anything other than a fun, movement-focused adventure. Its strength comes from understanding its goals and executing them effectively. Ultimately, Nova Jumper succeeds because it prioritizes enjoyable gameplay over unnecessary complexity. The combination of fluid movement, imaginative worlds, cooperative multiplayer, and varied platforming challenges creates an adventure that remains entertaining from beginning to end. It captures the joy of movement and exploration while maintaining a welcoming level of accessibility. Nova Jumper is a charming indie platformer that delivers a satisfying blend of traversal, exploration, and cooperative fun. Its creative environments, movement-focused gameplay, and approachable design make it an enjoyable experience for players who appreciate first-person platforming adventures. While its story remains intentionally simple, the strength of its core mechanics ensures that the journey to recover a missing sheep is far more entertaining than its premise initially suggests. Rating: 6/10
Nova Jumper is the game of all time. I really relate to the main character and I think that, if he were real, he would smell like me and it wouldn't be weird. I think the developer deserves a lot of praise because it isn't easy to make a game that is fun while also being so rich and deep in meaning. It really makes you feel like you're Spider-Man.
