Nova: Cloudwalker's Tale is a lovely puzzle game with great atmosphere, music, and sound design. The objective of each level is to reach the exit by moving clouds around. Each level also contains 1-3 optional stars to pick up. Level design is enjoyable and varied - surprisingly so, given how few puzzle mechanics the game introduces over time. Levels also vary significantly in difficulty: some levels are very quick to solve, particularly early on and on the main path. But a few of the levels were frankly *surprisingly* difficult. As a point of comparison, by the end I'd looked up ~12 of the 134 stars. Besides atmosphere and level design, I also loved the mouse-based control scheme. Movement is quick, and can be as quick as you can move your mouse. If only all games were this responsive. I have a few minor criticisms. Firstly, the game lacks Steam achievements for some reason. Secondly, the game is called a "Tale", and mentions wordless storytelling. But while I enjoyed the atmosphere, I didn't really see or care for the story, insofar as there even is any. Thirdly, if you collect some but not all stars in a level, and then replay the level, then you must collect already-found stars again. This makes sense since some puzzle mechanics are irreversible, but it still made game completion slightly more cumbersome. Fourth, puzzles have no numbers or names, so there's no way to talk about or look up solutions for specific puzzles. Fortunately I did find a full playthrough of the game incl. all stars, but looking up solutions was still harder than it had to be. But ultimately this is a well-designed, atmospheric, and enjoyable puzzle game. Recommended. Si os gustan los juegos de puzzles, este es un verdadero reto. Si además le añades la música y la fluidez de movimientos, es un 10. Muy recomendable.
What a sweet little game. Move tiles around to guide the character through levels to pick up crystals and to the exit. Some surprisingly great puzzles and neat mechanics that combine into novel concepts. Nothing too crazy hard, but hits that sweet spot without dragging its feet. Easy purchase for 10 hours of fun.
Tremendo juegardo de Puzzles, un autentico exprime cerberos. La dificultad, en ocasiones, es endiablada pero merece mucho la pena el reto. Totalmente recomendable.
Overall, a great puzzle game with incredibly soothing background music and gorgeous aesthetics. I really enjoyed so far how the game keeps adding mechanics in each constellation so that you simply can't stop playing! P.S. I may have nightmares with those tricky little rainy clouds
I know the devs so take this with a pinch of salt but damn this is a nice, atmospheric, chill puzzle game with absolutely amazing art and music that's very worth the asking price.
Отличная игрулька! Некоторые головоломки довольно заковыристые. Музыка расслабляющая. Советую, если хотите немного размять мозги.
Really beautiful and well thought out game, the levels are design so you can learn all the mechanics on an easy way. Some of the puzzles are really tricky and requires a lot of time and patience, but even if you don't manage to resolve all of them you can unlock the rest of the levels by catching enough stars and/or getting to the other side of the screen without them, so no need to worry. The relaxing music combined with the cute animations creates a really nice ambiance. I've already finished it (cause I've been playing non stop) but definitely I'll be playing it again in the future 😊
Loveliest game ever! Challenging, fun and cute! The music and aesthetics are great!
