A new political Party has won a landslide in the General Election, and for some reason the editor at the news station you work at has done a runner. Now it’s up to you, the Janitor, to take over the editing booth in this tumultuous time - will you help the government, or stand in their way?

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3/day in the week to Aug 10 → 3.86/day in the week after.

我在媒体工作,这个游戏我玩得很沉重。因为真实,所以 沉重
This is one of those games where I’m going to be chasing the way it made me feel for months if not years. The acting is phenomenal and really makes you feel attached to the characters, which makes you really think before making decisions within the game. Also, the musical numbers are surprisingly good???

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The resources on display for this game are astounding. Hundreds of actors, performing for 15 minutes at a time without cuts. Multiple song and dance routines. Some 50 hours of footage. And it's used tell a political story that, in one playthrough with multiple people watching, nobody could figure out what the game was even trying to say. Completely inscrutable. But then I watched all the possible endings and things became clearer. This is a game that above all else stresses the importance of a free press and an informed populace. So by sitting down and playing these multi-hour new broadcast scenarios slightly differently and getting a slightly more complete picture each time, you too can get the intended Best Ending, in which everyone is exposed as terrible and the only happy people left in Britain are the reporters.
Wow, what an AMAZING game! An absolute must-play. Seriously. Very innovative format and, above all, a story-driven experience that ACTUALLY got its stuff together: > Great story > Wacky yet interesting characters > Solid dialogue > Superb world-building > Choices TRULY matter. > Innovative (and amazing) FMV usage. As for any story-driven game, it's best if you go in blindly regarding the story and everything else. It got me tense, laughing, worried and, above all, invested in the story and its characters.
This was an interesting concept for a game, but I didn't find the execution really engaging. It was kind of cool to see the idea, but I couldn't get very far, it just wasn't interesting enough. I'm sure there are plenty of people who will like it, but people like me just won't enjoy it.
While this game has a cool concept and cool mechanics it ultimately follows the South Park school of political thought, which means it uses a lot of words to say absolutely nothing of worth. Full of talk about 'balance' and 'both sides are just as bad as each other' (the most lukewarm take to hit steam this decade) at the start it then nose dives into a story line so unrealistic and uninteresting that it can't even be called 'satire' any more. It pushes a weird narrative that seems to be saying 'welfare states actually want to declare nuclear wars and the only way to save us all from this is to be nice to billionaires.' It's tonally... weird. It's really weird. Nothing you do actually matters or affects the game's plot, even when it feels like it really should, and the only character with any consistency of characterisation dies half way through. The rest of them are just a mess. It's also disgustingly large and bloated and not worth the four hour download time.
I heard about this game being good. What i didnt expect was the emotional attachment i'd get towards the end. Further more i didn't realise that it would take me 12 hours for me to get 1 out 14 endings, yeah im still going to try to get them all xD
Wonderful Game
I picked this up for less than $10 USD with all of its DLC on sale. I'm a huge fan of telltale games and choose your own adventure games. Some of my favorite games include The Wolf Among Us, Dispatch, The Walking Dead, etc. I have a HUGE soft spot for the genre.
So, what is this game?
It's a mix of a Full Motion Video (FMV) game & a choose your own adventure with elements of a game like Papers, Please tossed in. It also lightly reminds me of Five Nights at Freddy's - you sitting in an editing station stationary vs sitting in the security station in the original FNAF. You play as the live editor of a news station. You choose camera angles, what to censor or not to censor. All of these factor into the branching path of the story. Will you support the government & toe the party line? Will you support the resistance? Will you remain neutral? What about your co-workers? Your family? etc. It has around 14 different endings & tons of DLC available. So, there is value here if you like this genre like I do. Its undeniable - from my perspective at least. Overall, solid premise & wonderful game.
The Downside
Some elements of the story are delivered through simple text & images. These segments also effect the branching narrative. They involve your family & can feel like a bit of a drag. The reading can be a bit of a chore. You have no faces to associate with the characters that are your family. So you have no real way to empathize with them other than "this is your family, here are their names, you should care for them." It's also very British. I put this in downsides because....I'm American. Sometimes British humor or terms can fall flat to some Americans. They should keep that in mind. For instance. Censoring swear words is a core part of gameplay. Words I, as an American, wouldn't consider profane - the game does. That's just because of that small cultural difference. So be aware of that going in, but its not a huge deal. I also did encounter a couple of crashes with the game. It mainly involved me pausing & walking away from the game of an extended period of time. If the game did not crash it would have some hiccups upon my return. Not a common issue, but one to be aware of going in.
TLDR
I really like the concept of the game and its right up my alley; however, the text based aspects that deliver the narrative outside of your characters job feel clunky & leave something more to be desired. Overall. Solid 7.5-8/10. Worth every penny of the $10 USD. 100% buy this on sale if you can.
