Avoid the reviews saying this game is to hard to learn and whatnot , i had never played an RTS game before, loaded up Rigs saga (the basic story mode) and after the first 3 chapters i had a pretty good grasp. game is fun and fast paced, years go by quickly, yes. requires your attention for sure but the base clans at least are not hard to learn. before purchasing i read a lot of reviews that made me almost not buy the game. so i felt the need to write this review to steer those who may be on the edge on spending money on this or not. i do not regret my purchase i have spent over 70 hours playing 10 different clans over the last 2 weeks with over 50 victorys, mostly in conquest, a mode that vastly makes the game better. each game you play during your conquest you receive a bonus either for your warchiefs or for certain workers/building upgrades. Conquest is a game changer, each clan getting there own set bonuses makes the replay-abilty a better bang for your buck. i would recomend this game to any new RTS game players who want to try the genre, more hardcore RTS gamers may want to purchase all the clans that have come out throughout the years as some of them have higher skill ceilings.

I gave this game another chance after refunding it once already. This is one of the least overwhelming RTS games out there while still being very fun and intense.

Great game. I play it all the time. My only suggestion to the makers is to have more game play/scenario/victory variety in single player mode.
