The 80s and 90s were thought times for the USSR and east european communist dictators. Social disasters and unrest, induced famine, propaganda etc. However, a unknown savior will come to the help of the USSR to delay its demise.
The lab-grown Kim Jong Il protects the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plan which obviously was an organized terrorist mission by the USA. He was given the highest honor by the KGB to use the Kalashnikov. KGB got a tip that the USA wants to sabotage the construction of the new Chernobyl Nuclear Reactor 4. They want to sabotage the construction to make it explode. Which is not good (yeah no shit).
Play as the Kim Jong Il and stop the damned western terrorists.
In this game you can:
Shoot your way into the operation using historically accurate weapons.
Drive as fast as you can to stop the terrorists.
Explore Chernobyl village in the 80s.
Enjoy the city to find out its story.

I booted up North Korean Saves USSR as a joke. I closed it as a changed human being. At first, I thought it was just another chaotic meme game made at 3AM by someone who had too much caffeine and not enough supervision. The title alone felt like a dare to my sanity. But the moment the title screen loaded and the nuclear bomb encasing my hero, my savior, my beloved Kim Jong Un, it made me feel something that I have never felt before in my 43 years of my entire life. I was beginning a journey. A pilgrimage. A spiritual awakening disguised as pixels. You don’t play this game. This game plays you. Within minutes, I was guiding a high-resolution, emotionally complex Kim Jong Un across the collapsing landscape of the USSR, driving over the tattered remnants of Chernobyl while shooting the capitalist pigeons. Each part wasn’t just a stage, it was a metaphor for my own struggles. The drive through the city? It was a spiritual commute through my own unresolved issues. Streetlights flickered like my attention span. Abandoned apartments loomed like unfinished assignments. Every pothole in the road felt like a memory I forgot to process emotionally. I wasn’t dodging debris. I was dodging my past. And when the radio crackled with distorted Soviet man talking about a man getting arrested, I swear it was whispering life advice in Morse code. Doctors say therapy helps. They never told me about this. I haven’t felt this alive since I had my first kiss. The gameplay is revolutionary. The physics are questionable. The emotional damage is permanent. I died 13 times against the defiant rebel soldiers, but each death taught me more about perseverance, forgiveness, and why trains in video games are always moving too fast. This game didn’t just save the USSR. It saved me. Before playing, I was tired, confused, and mildly hungry. My crops are growing better. My skin is clearer. Birds land near me without fear. My Wi-Fi got faster. My GPA increased by 0.3 points just from having this game installed on my PC. My houseplants started photosynthesizing louder. I tried to explain this game to my friends. They thought I was joking. I am not. This is not satire. This is a cry for help wrapped in a Steam review. If you are feeling lost, adrift, or like life has no meaning, do not seek answers in books, philosophy, or human connection. Play this game.
Very very good game glory to the Supreme leader!!!
