Norilsk

This is a neutral review as I will neither give a positive nor negative review for this game to be consistent with my group's curator list entry for the following reasons below. I am also writing this as a review to describe more about the game and as a way to reach the developer as a series of suggestions to improve on other games released in future. I also recently received this game for free from korytoombs through my friend Feena. Iosif was 12 when he left home in Norilsk after being overseas in Southeast Asia. He is returning to Norilsk Technical Academy, a high price school for rich, powerful and famous people. He is introduced to the dean of the academy Uliana, his maths and science teacher professor Syvatopolk. Uliana offers Iosif a deal to recognize his credits he earned while abroad at another university in return for reforming a confrontational student Fydor. Iosif agrees to the offer and gets to know Fydor, his childhood friend and neighbour Lesya and 2 female classmates Karina and Sabina. Syvatopolk assigns Iosif to do a group project where he is brought into the group formed by Karina and Sabina. Lesya offers to show Iosif around Norilsk as a weekend date leading Karina to feel jealous and compete with Lesya for Iosif's affections. Fydor rebuffs Iosif's attempts to get to know him better and stays in his room throughout, while Sabina also goes on a date with Iosif to get to know each other better. The story and plot is written as a romantic comedy with drama, decent amount of humour, a few sad moments and an additional optional uncensor patch which adds an additional H-CG at the end of each character route(4 romance options altogether with Lesya, Karina, Sabina and Fydor) with this game choosing to use great background music from Bittersweet Entertainment as the main highlight of this visual novel where most are pleasant, enjoyable and appropriate for most of the scenes in the visual novel. Among the cons, it does not contain any CG in this game for those who prefer to play the game censored. The storyline, plot and character backgrounds appear to be short and simplistic where only one character has the most believable character background and has a reasonable motivation to get into a romantic relationship with Iosif while the other 3 characters somehow feel added in at very short notice and then getting into a romantic relationship with the protagonist. I would have liked to see more dating and conversation scenes with each different character, although considering this is a short visual novel, I still feel it is a good effort at writing a decent script for this story with several different dating locations and a few funny moments with Syvatopolk describing mathematics concepts in boring detail and a B horror movie one of the main characters seem to enjoy watching more in contrast to the protagonist which could possibly be a nomination for Best Use of Farm Animal Award if there is a similar Steam award this year. The short length and somewhat rushed pacing of this story also meant that most scenes will finish before reaching the best parts of the accompanying background music as most of them are more than 3 minutes long and the best parts are right at the end of the musical piece or at the chorus which are likely to be overlooked by most players. Overall, this game is recommended only when at good discount or bundle offer for those looking for a visual novel with nice character sprites, great background music and a few funny moments as a romantic comedy and don't mind the lack of any CGs or voice acting in this game.

This game is like having someone in a trench coat talk to you about anime on a bus while you desperately try to avoid making eye contact.

[i]Norilsk[/i] ist leider eine komplette Enttäuschung. Kommen wir erst einmal zum visuellen Teil des Visual Novels. Die Qualität der Hintergründe und Charaktere sind auf den ersten Blick sehr gut, bis sich mehrere Charaktere in einem Bild befinden und man feststellt, dass die Proportionen der Sprites nicht zusammen passen. Auch ist alles mehr als generisch, man hat das Gefühl, die Charaktere von der Persönlichkeit und auch dem Aussehen schon X-Mal gesehen zu haben. Das stimmt vielleicht sogar, da man fertige VN Settings mittlerweile mieten/kaufen kann und ich verstehe auch, dass nicht jeder das Startkapital und Beziehungen hat um von klein auf alles selber zu gestalten. ABER dann hätte man wenigstens für die 4 CGs, die übrigens nur verfügbar sind, wenn man das +18 Patch benutzt, etwas mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen sollen. Diese gehören leider zu den schlechtesten CGs die ich je in einem VN gesehen habe. Damit will ich keinesfalls den Künstler beleidigen, jeder hat mal klein angefangen, aber man sollte den Stil entweder komplett durchziehen oder jemanden nehmen, der ansatzweise den Stil beherrscht, den das Spiel vorher zeigt. [strike](Oder man lässt die CGs ganz weg)[/strike] All das kann ich jedoch "verzeihen" wenn der Novel-Aspekt gut ist. Leider ist er es aber nicht. Die Handlung hört sich erst einmal vielversprechend an. Unser Protagonist, Iosif, der einige Jahre im Ausland verbracht hat, kehrt zurück in seine Heimatstadt Norilsk um dort die Technische Akademie zu besuchen. Diese hat beinahe schon einen elitären Status, da viele Reiche und Mächtige des Landes ihre Kinder dort unterbringen. Doch kaum eines der interessanten Themen kommt wirklich zur Geltung. Gerade bei einer Geschichte die in Norilsk spielt, hatte ich mir mehr erhofft, denn diese Stadt ist auf eine traurige Art und Weise wirklich faszinierend. Bis auf unsere Hauptcharaktere kommen kaum andere Personen im Spiel vor und trotzdem wird es nicht geschafft eine Chemie mit und zwischen dem einen männlichen und den drei weiblichen potenziellen Partnern herzustellen. Was den romantischen Part zum Teil absolut unerträglich zum lesen macht und an Gefühlen höchstens Unbehagen und Fremdscham auslöst. Auch einzeln betrachtet, gibt keiner der Charaktere etwas her. Hätte ich meine Screenshots nicht gehabt, wären mir nicht einmal mehr die Namen eingefallen. Entscheidungen gibt es bis auf eine, bei der man sich einfach für eine Route entscheiden kann, keine zu treffen. Lange geht es danach nicht weiter und die Enden und versuchten Plottwists sind leider genauso uninteressant, wie der Rest vom Spiel. Kaum zu glauben, dass der Originalpreis von [i]Norilsk[/i] mal bei 8,11€ lag. Dieser wurde zum Glück nachträglich auf 2,39€ runtergesetzt. Ich selbst habe das Spiel im Sale für 1,67€ gekauft und würde es nicht ein mal empfehlen wenn es kostenlos spielbar wäre. Höchstens etwas für Achievementhunters wenn es vielleicht irgendwann für 0,39€ im Sale zu haben ist.

[h1]보1지 보여줌. 꼭1지 보여줌. 자1지 보여줌(무료 누드 DLC받으세요). 돈값 못하는 게임[/h1] 꾸러미할인해서 3개 7700원에 팔길래 구입했으나 하나같이 돈아까운 게임이었다. 이번 게임 역시 스탠딩씬과 H씬의 괴리가 너무 크다. CG작가가 다른듯. 이번 게임에는 선택지가 딱 1번 나오는데 여기서 무엇을 선택하느냐에 따라 남/남끼리 딸치고 끝내기도하고 남/여가 떡을 치고 끝내기도 하는데 H씬의 비중이 너무 적다. 진짜 순식간에 지나가버린다. 기본적인 스토리는 길지만 성우가 없고 스탠딩씬은 대충 때운듯한 느낌이 너무 든다. 그리고 진짜 H씬이 너무 적다. 스토리를 원해서 사겠다면 뭐라 안하겠지만... 아니 말리겠지만 [h1]그냥 사지 않는것을 권장하겠다.[/h1]

Okay, I've never written a bad review before but I honestly can't recommend this game to anyone. First of all the characters are all way over the top, even more than usual. It's so extreme, in fact, it makes me cringe. There are also a lot of spelling errors and phrases that are strangely worded. Most importantly though, if you enjoy a game with choices, this is NOT a game for you. Basically, you read until you are presented with the only choice in the game and that's it. After the choice is made the game ends after a few paragraphs. I don't remember what I paid for it, only that I bought it on sale, but I wish I hadn't bought it.

The 4 cgs are 'okay', but man the characters all suck. There's not enough development in any of them to want to pick them. The game only has one choice at the end to pick who you want to date, but it feels like there are plenty of places where they could have had branches with different choices and just decided not to do that. You spend like 2 seconds of time with the guy and the weird girl and then for some reason date them anyway if you choose them. And then the other two are just insufferable. The closest to a three dimensional character is Karina and even that's a bit much, but most of her dimension shows up when you pick someone else. Since she's the only one that cares enough about the MC [for some reason] to want him to be happy even if it's not with her. You'd think that would be the "best friend" from childhood, but nope. Just the random girl who when you first meet her is yelling at you for parking in her spot. And then just says she likes you even though your only interactions thus far were her being mean to you. There's also just no reason any of the characters like you. It's just very tropey and boring overall. It's just not worth it. If it were free, it would have been fine. I've played better free kinetic novels and visual novels.

ein anime lesespiel für zwischendurch. kann es empfehlen. 4 antwortmöglichkeiten zur auswahl. musik und sound ist in ordnung. der preiß für dieses spiel ist im angebot (-67%) gut.. alle errungenschaften funktionieren.

Je suis partagé sur cette histoire visuelle. Le prix est décent et on récolte des succès cohérents. Faut le voir comme un roman de gare au design convenable (merci Visual Novel Maker), rien de plus. Les menus sont horribles cela dit, tout comme la réalisation globale du titre (script gnan-gnan, pas de sauvegarde cloud,..). Je vais être indulgent et espérer que le dev ajoute des cartes Steam.
