Really enjoyed this game. Loved the art style, the music, the solid voice acting, and the story is just the right amount of... what the hell is going on here?
What started as a charming experience quickly devolved into extreme frustration. The game is far too free with how it lets you use the items you find making it possible to brick progression, not to mention the number of times I ran into situations where items just didn't trigger things the way they were supposed to. I even ran into an instance where my character couldn't climb a ladder properly. Thematically and story-wise it does really well, but it is just too damn glitchy.
I got this game in a Steam-key giveaway, and I was expecting something awfully bad that’s made with the models from a 3D sexy visual novel game, but it’s actually good?? The combat is ass tho.
Help me... What fever dream is this sheet?
TL;DR Noch is a good game. Far from perfect, but if you're into psychological themes, it's definitely worth a try. The story is very intriguing. I like the pace at which it unfolds. Gow things slowly become not what they initially seemed. The puzzles are good and can be solved in multiple ways. Unlike many other games, you can’t just brute-force them by using every item on everything until something clicks. Combat is awkward, as I expected. Fortunately, it's not a big part of the game, and it’s not bad enough to ruin the impression. Character design is decent. Demon girl is the best waifu! The voice acting and animation are surprisingly high-quality. Something you don’t often see in indie games. The main flaw is the limited inventory. You can only carry 5 items at a time. What’s worse, the game gives you no hints about which items to bring into the next chapter. While you can’t get softlocked, it's easy to miss optional quests or parts of the story just because you didn’t bring something like a crow skeleton from Chapter 1. I emphasize: there is zero qlues on what’s important to keep. That said, the game does clearly warn you before a point of no return, so you won't accidentally advance the story before you're ready.
This game was confusing and a mix of emotions, airplane lady was mean, the demon lady was hot!! Also honorable mention to the Flat Earth Wolf and the 5G Quantum Soldier! They were legends!~ In all seriousness, this game is bit buggy sure, but I think is kinda funny for the memes, I would reccomend it if u want an experience!
я бы трахнул демона
