simple, repetitive and fun. i really enjoy cleaning up and farming, so this game is right up my alley. nothing super duper complex i just enjoy it :)
It's pretty cool game to pass the time. The clean up in game is quite satisfying. The story is easy to follow, and the gameplay is pretty easy to figure out since I skipped the tutorial.
Such a cute game, cosmetics for the animals that are so adorable! Easy to get caught up in the game itself a lot of tasks and cute quests along the way. Definitely recommend if you want something cozy to get lost in.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

relaxing, brain-off game imo<3
How chilled it was.
It's a fun and chill game. It's refreshing to have a game like this without the time pressure that's found in most others like it (e.g. passing out if you're not in bed by a certain time). I'm also obsessed with how cute the art is!
稀饭都比你像素高,我花十块钱买来玩是因为原件是七十,而不是这游戏就值十块
Developed by Chicken Launcher and published by Awaken Realms, No Place Like Home offers a refreshing blend of farming simulation, exploration, crafting, and light adventure within a post-apocalyptic setting that replaces despair with optimism. Rather than portraying a world consumed by ruin, the game imagines a future where humanity has relocated to Mars after leaving Earth buried beneath decades of pollution and abandoned waste. Players assume the role of Ellen Newland, who returns to Earth intending to visit her grandfather before permanently leaving for Mars, only to find both him and his farm missing. What begins as a simple family visit gradually transforms into a heartfelt journey of restoration, discovery, and rebuilding a forgotten world. The game's most distinctive mechanic centers on cleaning the environment. Equipped with a specialized vacuum tool, Ellen removes towering piles of garbage, clears blocked paths, and recycles discarded materials into valuable resources. Every cleaned location reveals hidden items, new routes, useful equipment, or opportunities to revive nature, making the cleanup process far more rewarding than it initially appears. Watching barren landscapes slowly transform into flourishing fields, forests, and villages gives players a constant sense of accomplishment, reinforcing the game's central theme that even the most damaged places can recover through patience and determination. Beyond exploration, farming becomes a major part of the experience. Players cultivate crops, gather ingredients, upgrade their equipment, and gradually expand their homestead into a productive farm. The farming mechanics are intentionally approachable, allowing players to enjoy planting and harvesting without overwhelming complexity. Crafting plays an equally important role, as nearly every material recovered from the environment can be recycled into new tools, machines, decorations, or improvements that make future exploration and farm management more efficient. The progression feels natural, rewarding players for investing time in every aspect of the world rather than focusing on a single gameplay loop. Animal rescue adds warmth and personality throughout the adventure. As Ellen travels across different regions, she discovers lost farm animals that can be brought back to safety. Caring for these animals provides useful rewards while making the farm feel increasingly alive. The inclusion of playful customization options, including decorative hats for the animals, adds a charming sense of humor that complements the game's relaxed atmosphere. Restoring homes, assisting surviving residents, and rebuilding local communities further strengthen the feeling that every action contributes to reviving a world that had been abandoned for far too long. The visual presentation embraces a colorful, stylized art direction that contrasts beautifully with the game's post-apocalyptic premise. Areas initially covered in rusted machinery and endless trash become vibrant landscapes filled with greenery, wildlife, and restored buildings as players progress. This visual transformation serves as one of the game's greatest strengths, constantly rewarding exploration with noticeable environmental improvements. The soundtrack and overall presentation reinforce the peaceful mood, encouraging players to slow down and enjoy the process of rebuilding rather than rushing toward objectives. The narrative remains straightforward but succeeds by focusing on hope, family, and environmental responsibility. Ellen's search for her grandfather provides the emotional backbone of the adventure, while conversations with various survivors gradually reveal how Earth fell into neglect and what remains worth saving. Instead of relying on dramatic twists or high-stakes conflict, the story complements the gameplay by emphasizing cooperation, kindness, and the belief that positive change begins with small individual efforts. Its environmental message is integrated naturally into the mechanics through recycling, conservation, and restoration rather than feeling forced or overly preachy. While No Place Like Home delivers a consistently relaxing experience, it is not without shortcomings. Resource collection and environmental cleanup can become repetitive during extended play sessions, particularly when tackling larger areas that require significant clearing before meaningful progress is made. Combat and challenge are intentionally light, making the game accessible for casual players but potentially leaving those seeking deeper action or strategic gameplay wanting more. Some technical rough edges and repetitive tasks occasionally interrupt the otherwise smooth pacing, although they rarely diminish the game's overall charm. No Place Like Home succeeds because it creates an enjoyable gameplay loop built around making visible, lasting improvements to the world. Its satisfying cleanup mechanics, rewarding farming systems, accessible crafting, lovable rescued animals, and uplifting message combine into a wholesome adventure that consistently encourages exploration and creativity. By transforming environmental restoration into an engaging gameplay experience, the game offers something both relaxing and meaningful. Players who appreciate cozy life simulations, farming adventures, and exploration-driven progression will find plenty to enjoy in this optimistic journey to restore a forgotten Earth. Rating: 8/10
This game is fun and there are many things to build. The tool upgrades help you be more efficient with clean up and the animals can wear hats! The mechanics are easy to use once you get through the tutorial and there are many areas to unlock with new things to do and a change of scenery.
