The art style is like a kids cartoon but the game play and the player models are more sinister. It has no blood so it is safe for children. You don't need to pay money for cosmetics you can earn the currency in the game called either eggs or diamond eggs. Just a great game overall.
Compared to other games I play, this is a full workout. I had the demo on Quest 2, so I could play outside in winter and that helped slow down the sweat, but on steam my computer can't let me play outside. If your like me, you will get sweaty, and have lots of fun. And after 3 hours I feel like I am only through a few levels. This somehow gives me platformer feels that only Mario 64 gave me, but this is more immersive, realistic, and funnier, and since its exercise this is actually healthy to play
Very fun platformer that deserves many more reviews for how much content and fun it has packed into it.
PERFECT
If You Like 3D Platformers And Killing Cute Things No More Rainbows Is The Game For You With 5 Worlds And 5 Stages Per World Plus A Not Too Active Multiplayer I Think A 20$ Price Tag Is Not Bad But If You Think Its Too Much I Suggest Getting It On Sale
My lil cousins and I played a game a little - it is horrible: neither my cousins and I couldn't play for long sessions - controls are THIS horrible! You don't have control over your speed - the game throws you at a pre-determined speed when you hit objects - you can't fully control anything. Not only that, the game is incredibly buggy: your hands always go through the ground if the object isn't thick enough and you hit it beyond a certain speed - physics are broken! And re-centering the game every fail is the most annoying thing in the world - why isn't there an option to turn it off? Camera rotation isn't enough At first you may enjoy it, but later on the movement system becomes way too annoying, especcially if you're like me who wants to 100% the game Buy it on HUGE sale or don't buy it at all - the physics are beyond terrible. Better play Gorilla Tag, their physics is soooo much better and it's free on oculus, cheap on pc Original review: Really fun game, deserves way more recognition! The only problem is that movement isn't as smooth as in gorilla tag, it's very similar but still, needs to be polished to be a better game. Still fun tho!
It's a great movement system championed by Gorilla Tag and I hope to see more VR platformers of this genre, but this is the worst of the bunch I have seen so far. - Don't like the sadism. I am not perfect, but the creatures of this game did nothing to deserve what you do to them in this. They only tried to spread their style and you basically murder them all in response and the torture of people you cannot get along with is advocated and celebrated in this game. The first boss I met tried to run from me to save itself and I had to try and kill it anyway. -My real complaint is the movement system. The jumping just seems really awkward and not smooth at all. Sometimes I do a weird hop when I least expect it. Sometimes the friction and my hand slipping seems unpredictable. Worst of all their seems to be no symmetry between your movement and the jumping. There's like three jumps so to speak and it is hard to judge when you launch yourself. I have played Gorilla Tag, Out of Hand and Stilt. Stilt is by far my favourite for movement. The stilts may be weird at first but they are the most fun to use and the extra reach beyond your wrist works really well for these VR platformers. I guess this game is still good overall because the awesome potential of this genre is so young and new.
