NMH is set in a radioactive exclusion zone known as the Asran Exclusion Zone. The zone is filled with dangers. Violent factions, constant fights, wild-life, radioactive emissions.
Asran suffered a civil war for 12 years and finally it all got to an end with a nuclear explosion. This explosion created what's known as the zone today. It also spawned strange illuminating artifacts known as the Radianite and today many factions in the zone are fighting over it.
NMH offers dynamic faction wars. Politics in the zone is very unstable. Many individuals wander into the zone and join one of the factions to pursue money. You will find yourself fighting against these factions or be a part of them. Choice is yours.

NMH focuses on offering the best combat experience you can have against a computer. NPCs use a cover based behaviour tree system. They can lean, crouch, self heal and use advanced search algorithms to overcome their opponents. NPCs will pick the best cover after analyzing the envinoment.
Goal is to create a combat AI that feels like playing against an actual human. Every individual is part of a faction in the zone. You will need to use your binoculars to observe people around you.
Getting caught in the open might be end of you, that's why you need to make sure you are always close to a cover.

Combat always carries risk of getting fatally wounded this is why you will always need to carry medical equipment with you. Antibiotics, bandages etc. Every wound requires it's own treatment. If you get shot, you will have to take the bullet out before you can use a bandage on that wound. Every bullet wound also carries the risk of infection which you will have to treat with antibiotics. NMH offers a very immersive healing system.
You will also have to worry about hunger&thirst in the hot desert. Explore the zone to mark the locations where you can find water and always make sure you have enough water. You will have to hunt to gather meat. You can use the dedicated camp fires to cook.
You will be able to collect resources and craft items when you run out of options.
The zone also has radiated areas you need to avoid. You can buy a geiger counter to make sure you avoid radiation pockets.
Zone occasionally suffers from radioactive dust-storms. During the dust-storms the ground will shake and wind will carry radioactive dust. You will have to immediately seek shelter otherwise you will risk getting radiated. If you get radiation sickness you will have to treat it with anti-rad medication.
Zone is also filled with wild animals which can sometimes be hostile. Always keep your guard on!

Free to play режим Stalker занялся непотребством с Far Cry 2 и у них появился ребёнок No Mans's Home) Есть ещё отголоски Day'Z, но они очень малые (а жаль).

Bare-bones but the bones are very good. Systems are here albeit in rough form. Runs 4k in Linux very smoothly.
This is a game im going to come back to in a year. For the 10 dollarydoo price point. id say give it a whirl. its a bit bare bones, early access and all. Didn't think id like it. cuz it gave me the extraction shooter vibes at first. (its not an extraction shooter, thank god.) AI is competent more than most games. they will actively flank or toss a grenade to flush you out. had one guy send a drone at me. terrifying. Short story time. Nuclear storm came. Blue hat man barged into where i was hiding. shot him up,went to loot him he was still alive. had the option to help him and did. got a friend! followed him around for a bit. later in gunfight with another factions. him and i duking it as hard as we can at em. His last words were "mama" as he bled out on the ground t-t
10/10 best game of the year.
a great up and coming fps survival. one of the only mind you that doesnt place you as the main character these days. your just another scav in a wasteland watching faction politics unfold and its your choice to get involved. obviously its very early on but its off to a fanstatic start and on top of that its got a responsive dev whos looking at feedback which i rarely see. keep up the good work.
I absolutely love what this game is doing, but unfortunately I cannot recommend it in its current state. The only gripe I have is my frames will drop into the 10s, and I have a pretty good PC. Idk if it's unity or my PC is going to die soon, but I cannot recommend this game as is :(. I love it though, don't give up and don't stop updating it, I will definitely be returning.
This blew away my expectations. It's got a lot of stuff I wish Stalker 2 had. PLEASE add FOV sliders
Great game and had fun trying to fight for survival to get loot as you do missions that can either go great or terrible depending on who comes and ruins the plan. The drones are scary but when you know where they come from and hit one good shot it can go well, but when you're in a building you are never safe as if they got bloodhound noise to track you in the building. The drone AI pathing does a little funny loop of trying to go upstairs in some places and makes it easier. Crafting is a bit interesting since you have to find materials and smash them together to see which can give something or not. I honestly wished I could send money to my friend omar naide from the reap faction cause he a goofy guy. Love the hit missions but hate the save the rad runner missions cause you have to figure out which guy not kill and should at least put a quest marker highlight to not mistakenly kill him or make him less aggressive to push and fight as much. only missions I never touch were the peoples daily quota stuff since I am too lazy to hunt down one specific faction. Wish some of the materials had more purpose like the plastic and duct tape since they make a silence that works only for the 1911 and mp5. Would need more polishing but all in all it was fun to either get ambushed for a package or a PDA and even fight alongside or against a faction.
While it has obvious direction inspired by stalker mods, at current state it is a bareboned jank in my opinion. I do hope this gets polished and improved, cause it needs a lot of improving and polishing. I will check it in future and change my rating accordingly. There's no reason to play this over Stalker Anomaly/Gamma. Good luck to developer.
