Reviews
I love all Nioh games and this game is more Nioh for me., The open world setting is excellent. I do not care much about some technical issues. The combat system and game mechanics are awesome.

High Cortisol Gameplay
If you loved Nioh 2, you will love this game. The gameplay flows so similarly, the story feels so familiar, it's more like a colossal Nioh 2 DLC than a true sequel. This is not a bad thing since I loved Nioh 2. When people complain about a sequel that has diverged too far from the original, this is probably the kind of game they envision as the ideal. Two caveats: For one, performance is really bad. My computer isn't top of the line, but it runs Nioh 2 very comfortably. This game looks essentially the same as Nioh 2, graphics-wise, but runs much, much worse. I didn't end up recording one of the bosses because the stutters were actively interfering with gameplay, and on some (thankfully rare) occasions across the game it felt like the inputs weren't responsive, presumably because of this problem. I still enjoyed it, but keep this factor in mind. For two, the game is very undertuned. Nioh has never been a hard series by the standards of the genre, but this game is so much easier than 2 it's outright anticlimactic. Just about every major boss went down on the first or second try despite me not really being pushed to really learn their movesets. The endboss in particular
could easily have two or three phases instead of the current one if he's to be this easy, he's a bit of a joke right now.
