Nioh 3 feels like someone took the phrase “combat depth” and decided it was a challenge rather than a concept. If you came here expecting calm exploration, the game politely asks you to reconsider your life choices. Then it drops a yokai on you the size of a building and says “learn faster.” The combat is absurdly dense in the best way. Stances still matter, timing still matters, and now it feels like the systems are actively arguing with each other while you try to keep up. Ki management becomes less of a mechanic and more of a negotiation with your own exhaustion. Weapons are once again gloriously overdesigned instruments of controlled chaos. Every encounter feels like a test of whether you actually understand what you are holding, or just think you do because you survived the last fight. Bosses are relentless, theatrical, and occasionally feel like they are playing a different game where the rules are personal. You will lose. Then you will lose more efficiently. Then you will suddenly win and sit there in silence questioning your reflexes and your identity. What makes it work is the loop. Death is not a stop sign here, it is feedback delivered at high speed with dramatic lighting. Every failure teaches something sharp and specific, like the game is chiseling skill directly into your muscle memory. It is punishing, intricate, and occasionally overwhelming, but when it clicks, it becomes one of the most satisfying combat systems in modern action RPGs. 10/10. Died respectfully. Returned sharper.
최적화 엉망 (CPU 터지려고 함) 인거 빼고는 만족한 게임

忍者爽中又爽,游戏比博燃,买就完事了。
都2026了,还存在这种画质和优化两不占的游戏
The combat is more varied than the others in the series. I ended up using Ninja a lot more than I would have preferred but that's mostly because of Tengen Kujaku (my love). There are a lot less Guardian Spirits and so a few very nice passives are gone. The plot makes about as much sense as Nioh 1, while stealing a lot of from Nioh 2. Bonus points for having a main character that talks sometimes and not having an annoying side kick be your mouthpiece. The story is complete in the base game which is a definite improvement over 1 and 2 that didn't feel whole without the DLC. I would recommend this game, with the caveat it would be best to buy after all DLC drop since the replay value is sorely lacking with only 1 new game mode so far.
A lot of visual bugs making the game basically unplayable. Random geometry constantly glitches in and out across the entire map. Game needs a full reboot every 20-30 minutes to be playable and even then there is a lot of glitching and flickering. Changing graphics settings doesn't fix it. Apparently its due to memory leaks in the game engine itself. I don't understand how this game was ever released in this state. Lots of gameplay mechanics seem poorly thought through (ridiculous heaps of useless loot, way too many parallel mechanics without focus, copy-pasted classic soulslike mechanics that add very little). Feels like a rough beta rather than a finished game.
