addicting! has kept me coming back over the past few days to explore the map just a little further, unlock the next attachment, etc... there are really very few pieces of criticism i have for this game, but i'll add them nonetheless in the spirit of feedback :) i think there are definitely meta picks, and you lose some of the fun of finding attachments in the wild when you've played for a while and realize you'll likely be using the explosive magazine half the time. it'd be nice to see buffs to some of the other attachments so that you can have fun trying new things without feeling underpowered i personally find the gene editing bit to be a little constricting, and i ended up investing everything into the first character without feeling inclined to branch out. i'll probably make it a point to try out the little bee guy some more, but i think the health/atk speed/etc buffs you unlock through the gene editor should just be shared by every character rather than requiring a bit of extra menuing and upgrading to get the same effect an infinite mode would obviously be a fun bonus, but this isn't a requirement by any means :)
One of the best bullet heaven/hell games I ever played. Ultra low system requirements, awesome graphics, sound & gameplay, there's many things to unlock & upgrade. Every run is unique because of many weapons you have to choose from & skill upgrades during gameplay. The game constantly receives updates and fixes as well as new content so if you are a fan of this genre, don't hesitate. I highly recommend!
I've found this game to be a pleasant mix between challenging and fun. I enjoy modding my gun each run and exploring the potentials hidden in all the add ons. Your first few runs will take a while figuring out the mechanics of the weapons and upgrading, but overall it is relatively basic if you've ever played any game like this. Damage, rate of fire, reload speed, crit chance/damage, move speed, all the usual business. It does take a bit of time to farm at the start, but the hand full of runs where you are figuring out what to do just save your money. Don't feel compelled to buy everything immediately or every gun in order just because you have the money. I purchased up to the SMG and then saved up until I had enough to buy the best (most expensive) gun that was offered without having to find the chassis on the map. Having that gun I was able to then explore relatively easily for new chassis, mods, and upgrades, as well as gather resources much more efficiently. None of this took dozens of hours like some games where you spend 30hrs just grinding to get somewhere. I have put in just over 16hrs at this point and I have explored most of the map and I assume it won't take me too much longer to finish exploring. Now I am just curious if this game will ever get out of EA, because i looked at purchasing it 10 times over the last year and change before I finally decided to recently, and it is still in EA. Either way good fun and I recommend if you like pew pew pewing like a madman.
