Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is, without a doubt, the best otome I've ever played. I truly can't put into words how much I loved every single minute of it!
Nightshade is an otome visual novel that blends romance, political intrigue, and historical drama into a beautifully produced narrative about loyalty, betrayal, and the twilight years of the shinobi. Developed by Red Entertainment and LANTERN ROOMS and published by D3PUBLISHER, it places you in the role of Enju Ueno, the sheltered heiress of the Kōga clan during a fragile era of peace in post-Sengoku Japan. Although the clans of Kōga and Iga have nominally united under the Tokugawa regime, tensions remain just beneath the surface, and Enju’s coming-of-age mission quickly unravels into a deadly conspiracy that exposes the fault lines of this uneasy alliance. The premise is strong and immediately immersive, presenting a world where political agendas, ancient grudges, and personal desires intersect in ways that force the protagonist—and the player—to confront the harsh realities of shinobi life. One of Nightshade’s greatest strengths lies in its audiovisual presentation. The character art by Teita is striking, filled with expressive eyes, detailed historical costumes, and beautifully rendered backgrounds that evoke forests, moonlit rooftops, and blood-stained battlefields. This painterly aesthetic, paired with a somber but elegant soundtrack, sets the tone perfectly for a story that balances romance with tragedy. The fully voiced cast, performed by veteran Japanese voice actors, elevates emotional scenes considerably. Even quieter, introspective moments benefit from the production quality, allowing players to feel present in the lives of each character. The game’s atmosphere is one of constant tension—a world where beauty and danger coexist, where every soft moment has the shadow of death behind it. Structurally, Nightshade follows the traditional otome format: a shared common route followed by character-specific branching paths that dive deeper into the lives, motives, and emotional struggles of the chosen love interest. Each of the five main routes offers a different perspective on the unfolding conspiracy, revealing new secrets and character dynamics as you progress. These routes range in tone from tender and protective to morally conflicted and tragic, creating a wide emotional palette. Some routes emphasize political intrigue, others lean toward personal healing or forbidden affection. The writing excels most when exploring the complexities of shinobi loyalty—how duty, love, and survival often clash, and how characters navigate those conflicts with varying degrees of grace or desperation. Although the narrative is engaging, its structure introduces some drawbacks, particularly during replays. The common route is lengthy and largely identical across playthroughs, meaning players seeking all endings will revisit the same scenes multiple times before reaching new story content. While this is a common trait in otome games, the repetition feels more pronounced here due to the story’s linear construction. Additionally, while Enju begins as a promising heroine with emotional depth, there are points—especially in certain routes—where she loses agency and becomes more reactive than proactive. This can be at odds with her training as a kunoichi and may disappoint players who prefer protagonists with more assertive or strategic roles in shaping their destinies. Despite these issues, the character routes themselves are richly developed and offer a strong emotional payoff. Each love interest has clearly defined motivations, personal conflicts, and a meaningful relationship arc with Enju. Their stories grapple with themes such as loyalty to clan, personal sacrifice, and the vulnerable desire for connection in a world that discourages it. Some endings are bittersweet or painful, further emphasizing the dangerous environment these characters inhabit. Nightshade’s willingness to explore darker themes—betrayal, death, trauma—sets it apart from lighter otome titles and gives its romantic arcs a weight that resonates long after the credits roll. Nightshade’s gameplay mechanics are minimal, as expected of the visual novel genre, but they support the experience well. Choice points guide the narrative down branching paths, and wrong decisions can lead to premature bad endings, encouraging players to read carefully and consider the political consequences of every action. The user interface is polished, comfortable to navigate, and includes quality-of-life features such as skip options and a flowchart for managing saves and replays. These practical touches make the game approachable for newcomers while still appealing to long-time otome fans. In its entirety, Nightshade is a polished and emotionally rich otome visual novel that stands out for its strong production values, atmospheric worldbuilding, and mature narrative themes. It falters in its route repetition and occasional loss of protagonist agency, but its strengths—beautiful art, excellent voice acting, compelling romantic routes, and a dramatic historical setting—far outweigh these flaws. For fans of romance steeped in political tension, for players drawn to samurai-era drama, or for anyone seeking a visually striking story with emotional depth, Nightshade remains one of the genre’s most memorable titles. psv上打完在这边评一下,首先悌太的画风实在太美貌了看见就走不动道了,五郎戴着口罩露出一双绿眼睛美得惊心动魄,悌太我爱你能不能多画几部……
Great game: great voice actors, beautiful pictures + beautiful moments. Some storylines are much better and natural than others..... I will not tire you too much, but : Hanzo is an absolute best (the girl becomes fully independant, confonts the main villains by herself, immense growth of character, etc + their connexion is so sweet) ; Kuro i think is one of the most natural ones (because no huge age gap) aaand he loves the girl the way a person of their age would love ; the red head is fun, but when you know the depth of other stories feels a little bit on the lower end + their connection build up is a little weird to me. Other 2 are really not my thing (the bodyguard + the cousin (?)). Make yourself a service and leave Hanzo for your last PT!
