First of all, I somehow got thrown onto Hiroyuki’s route out of nowhere — it honestly felt like one of those forced-love-route plot twists 😭 I was originally aiming for Hanzo from the start, and after finishing the happy ending, I can confidently say I’d still choose Hanzo all over again. He’s such a massive kuudere/closeted softie, completely the opposite of Hiroyuki. [SPOILERS ALERT!!] But he’s genuinely such an amazing character. His role feels almost paternal at times, while also being a mentor and companion to the heroine. On the surface, he seems cold and ruthless, as if emotions are unnecessary baggage to him. He’s called the strongest ninja for a reason: he strictly follows every ninja principle, prioritizes missions above all else, and his overwhelming strength combined with emotional detachment makes him unmatched in his field. And then he meets the heroine — the daughter of someone important from his past. At first, he only takes her in because of his lord’s orders to protect her. He constantly complains that she’s troublesome, speaks bluntly without caring about hurting a young girl’s feelings… but the way he calls her “musume” 😭 he really starts acting like her father for real. Scolding her, cooking for her, training her, drying her clothes and warming her up 😭😭 He honestly feels even more like her actual parent than Kando does. BUT!!! You two absolutely deserve to fall in love and live happily together 😭 Please get married and have children immediately!!! Hanzo’s strength is honestly heartbreaking. This route felt like a healing/redemption story for him, and it made me so emotional and happy 🥹 He’s definitely my bias in this game. And the romance was SO sweet. Who would’ve thought that the strongest ninja, a man who values missions above everything else, would eventually break orders for her… and even choose to get injured rather than kill someone 😭😭 “I want you to live. You are the first person in this world who has ever made me feel this way.” That ending where they retire from the ninja world and quietly live together as a happy couple was everything to me. Please let these two enjoy their peaceful married life forever 🥹
This is, without a doubt, the best otome I've ever played. I truly can't put into words how much I loved every single minute of it!
Good
I'm going to be honest here. The story isn't bad. Every storylines is interesting and overall unique to each character. There's occasional overlap, but that's typical and expected in any otome, especially because the underlying base of the story has to be the same to work. I played this kind of blind. I bought it during a sale when it was, I think, half off? With minimal read through on what the story was about via a reddit forum recommending otome's on steam. I used to love historical otome's when I was younger so I thought this would work well for me. Now that I've finished all the routes/achievement's I have to say that it unfortunately doesn't. The age difference between three out of the five love interests are plain old uncomfortable. Chojiro (23) is seven years older, Goemon (26) is 10 years older, and Hanzo (33) is 17 years older than her! THE MC IS 16 YEARS OLD! Not to mention that Chojiro isn't only just 7 years older, he's also her cousin! That watched her grow up! That feels plain old wrong. I was mainly uncomfortable while reading through Chojiro and Hanzo's route because both of them fit the found family trope so much better than anything romantic. Goemon was an fun love interest, but their age difference just threw me off enough that I wasn't very happy when they got together. The last two love interests Kuroyuki (16) and Gekkamaru (19) were the only ones that were age appropriate. The three years between the MC and Gekkamaru were not great, but not as horribly bad as the others so I just shrugged it off mainly. Something that wouldn't even bother me if the MC was older cause age gaps are much less important once they're actually mature adults and not teenagers getting involved with adults! Point is, even though the stories were good and I thought they were interesting, the fact that 3/5 love interests didn't feel like love interests to me was something that made this game, who's whole point is to explore falling in love, a lot less worth it. Hilariously enough, I didn't enjoy Kuroyuki's route either (the only LI that matches the MC's age) so 4/5 routes were just not it for me. Gekkamaru was the only one I ended up finding enjoyable which doesn't bode well for my own rateability of the game. But, if you don't mind ginormous age gaps and the fact that one of your LI's is related to the MC, then go on ahead. The story is interesting.

黑雪我的超人···一款阳光系重男,超喜欢黑雪线的!推荐是最后打,不然打完了都没心思打别的线了···dlc的额外剧情也好甜,赛高!
10/10 for Kenjiro Tsuda. I have yet to do any other characters routes than Hanzo, but I loved it.
