About
Night Swarm is a vampire-themed roguelite RPG bullet heaven where you play as a fearsome young vampire lord rising to power. Gather loyal allies, unleash devastating abilities, and fight back against the relentless werewolf hordes that threaten to consume the night.

Twisted by the curse of the werebeasts, savage hordes surge in endless waves — relentless, feral, and driven by bloodlust. As the Vampire Lord, you must hold the line against their chaos and purge the corruption with every strike.

Within your castle walls, a host of loyal NPCs stand ready to serve your rise. Visit the Talent Shop to shape your build, the Item Shop to prepare for the battles ahead, and many more allies who exist solely to sharpen your edge. Every run brings new upgrades — and with each choice, you carve a darker legacy.

Ancient totems respond only to those who give willingly. Exchange your hard-earned gold for power beyond mortal limits — skills, scrolls, and secrets that could turn the tide of any battle.

Summon loyal companions to fight by your side and unleash chaos upon your enemies. As your reputation grows, so does your influence — calling forth stronger, deadlier allies bound to your dark will.

Prepare for unforgettable battles against towering monstrosities.

there's a wiff of AI with some of the relics and skill icons that the store page doesn't list. I have no proof other then gut feelings and how the stuff looks. but it's really off how some art is focused and to the point well others look really cluttered and almost rendered differently. if it is made with AI that really should be stated on the page. it also puts the full game into question. Do not give this Dev any money.
the game in itself is okay, but use GenAI and there is no disclosure on the store page.
There are bizarre glaring bugs despite the frequent updates, like sliders in the settings menu don't do what you're expecting them to, or your controls freeze for half a second before a companion uses an ability. The graphics are detailed in some places and then muddy and disjointed in others, with the colours in the actual levels being less dark and gothic and more neon vomit. There are way too many useless powerups. There's a Slay the Spire-esque dungeon progression system that doesn't have very meaningful choices (it's just a ladder, really.) There's no AI disclosure on the store page, but there's definitely a lot wrong with the game that would be very easily explained if it was generated by AI. EDIT: I discovered that there used to be an AI disclosure about some art and voice overs being GenAI. Odd the disclosure was removed but the content remains. Worst of all, it's just bland. You don't feel any kind of growth or progression. Enemies are HP spongy but not a threat, and there's also a lot of them. I think I'd feel more rewarded wiping my monitor with a cloth for 2 minutes than I would doing the same motions but in this game. There are characters with single-sentence personalities that will drone on. There are microscopic powerups you can grind for after you unlock and talk to these dull people. Overall, I think there's a good game here in concept but sadly not in execution.
Fun roguelike with satisfying progression and a great vampire theme. Definitely worth checking out.
This is a steal of a game. Sure, it's a bit too easy, but there is a LOT of content for $10 USD, and I can see this game being expanded for a long, long time. I'd love to see a proper rebalance one day, to make it feel a bit more (FAIRLY) difficult, but what's here is way better than I was expecting for the price point. I'll be playing and watching this game continue to grow, for sure!
i like it a lot but it crashes my computer.
It does a LOT for the price. I only completed the first biome, but there's plenty to chew on here if you enjoy survivor-likes. Plenty of things to upgrade, a hard mode to work towards and beyond the visual style being unique, the game has enough going for it to set it apart from "just another one".
great casual game to play
One of the best bullet heaven games I have played ever.
