For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Night is Coming is a survival strategy game set in a fantasy world inspired by Slavic mythology and the nature of Eastern Europe.
The Darkness is relentlessly devouring the lands, forcing survivors to hide in the woods, where each new day is a battle against death. You are to lead a group of those humbled by impending dread: build and develop your settlement, gather resources, and protect your people from monsters that lurk in the dark. Take care of the settlers, make them learn crafts and military skills so their next sunset is not their last. Over time, you will have to leave the lands you developed and look for the new ones... Who knows, maybe there you will find out how to repel the inevitable danger and save the world.
Will you be able to do all that is needed before the sunset?

Your management skills and strategic vision will determine the fate of your people. Delegate tasks to your settlers: regulate the gathering of essential resources, provision of food, clothing, and shelter. Attract new settlers. Teach them farming, smithing, and other necessary crafts. Explore the surrounding lands and send your warriors to search for rare materials. Who knows what unexpected lands and what random events await you there...

Each settler is an individual with their own attributes, needs, skills, and strengths. Govern them wisely and guide their talents towards the settlement improvement. Settlers' morale will impact their resilience and determine their capability to overcome life struggles and challenges.

Build houses to protect your dwellers and keep them warm, workshops to make tools, and barracks to train your warriors. And don't forget about warehouses for storing resources. Infrastructure plays a crucial role in settlement growth: upgrade your buildings to increase production efficiency, provide settlers with everything they need, and strengthen your defenses against the approaching Darkness.

Develop a strong military force by training warriors of various specialties and enhancing the defense of your borders. You can supervise each warrior directly or trust them to act independently. Magic is also your ally: different spells can help you with the needs of your settlers as well as support you on a battlefield — by using magic you can protect your warriors and cause damage to your enemies.

The nights grow increasingly longer and colder, but snowstorms and penetrating frost are not your only enemies... Portals open everywhere, allowing Prince Velimir's servants to hunt down the survivors. The longer you stay in one place, the stronger the Darkness grows and more ruthless the nights become: with every house built, with every lair destroyed the pressure of the woods only gets worse. Ghouls, Leshies, Werewolves, and Night Hags are only some of the creatures that will try to destroy your settlement. You'll have to defend your land against monsters and defeat their Baron so that you are able to move to new lands.

The future of your settlement depends on your progress. You will need to collect Spirit Energy, Darkness Shards, technology and defense points and use them to research new technologies and advance your manufacturing methods to master farming, build new structures, and increase their level and efficiency. Moreover, you'll be able to unlock new spells, magic boosters, new warrior subclasses, advanced armor, and weaponry.

Experience a dynamic and ever-changing world: sunrises and sunsets, sounds of nature, elemental spirits, seasonal and weather changes. All of this will be accompanied by an enchanting soundtrack from master instrumentalist Alizbar, as well as by many other original tracks.

unbalanced and full of bugs. never enough iron deposits to build and upgrade every tech. easy is far too ez while medium (swamps) already is too hard. limited number of towers is annoying.

Night is Coming, developed by Wild Forest Studio and published by 101XP, presents a compelling blend of settlement management, survival strategy, and dark fantasy storytelling. Drawing heavily from Slavic folklore, the game drops players into a world where civilization is slowly being consumed by a supernatural force known as the Darkness. Rather than building an empire meant to last forever, players guide groups of survivors seeking temporary refuge as they move from one region to another. This premise immediately sets the title apart from traditional city-builders, creating a persistent sense of urgency that influences nearly every aspect of gameplay. The game's central loop revolves around establishing settlements, gathering resources, and preparing for the inevitable arrival of hostile creatures once night falls. Woodcutting, farming, mining, hunting, and crafting all play vital roles in keeping the population alive. Every villager contributes to the settlement's success through specialized roles, allowing players to shape a community capable of adapting to increasingly harsh conditions. The migration mechanic is particularly noteworthy, as it prevents players from becoming overly attached to a single location. Knowing that the safety of a settlement is temporary gives each decision additional weight, whether that means constructing stronger defenses or prioritizing the training of future warriors. Night is Coming excels at building atmosphere. The developers have created a world that feels both enchanting and oppressive, with towering forests, mist-covered landscapes, and an ever-present feeling of danger. Daytime offers moments of relative calm, allowing players to expand and optimize their settlements, while nighttime transforms the experience into a tense struggle for survival. The transition between these two states is handled exceptionally well, reinforcing the game's themes of resilience and uncertainty. Its visual presentation may not push technical boundaries, but the art direction successfully captures the harsh beauty of a land steeped in myth and legend. Combat adds another layer of complexity to the experience. The creatures emerging from the Darkness force players to think beyond simple resource accumulation. Defensive structures, trained militia, and strategic positioning become essential as attacks increase in frequency and intensity. There is a satisfying rhythm to the gameplay cycle: prepare during the day, endure the night, and rebuild what was lost before moving forward. These moments of conflict keep the pacing engaging and ensure that the colony management elements never become repetitive. The game effectively balances planning and reaction, rewarding players who anticipate threats rather than merely responding to them. Beyond survival, the title also places emphasis on progression and exploration. Settlers improve their abilities over time, unlocking new opportunities for production, combat, and development. Exploring surrounding territories can reveal valuable resources and strategic advantages, encouraging players to venture beyond the safety of their walls. The combination of progression systems and environmental discovery helps maintain a steady sense of advancement, even when settlements are eventually abandoned. It reinforces the idea that the true objective is not preserving a place, but preserving the people and their legacy. As an Early Access release, Night is Coming is not without its shortcomings. Some mechanics can feel underexplained, particularly during the opening hours, and the user interface occasionally struggles to present information efficiently. Certain balancing issues may also emerge as settlements grow larger, and technical hiccups can interrupt otherwise immersive moments. However, these issues do little to overshadow the game's strong foundation. The ambition behind its design is evident, and many of its rough edges feel like the kind that can be refined through continued development and community feedback. Ultimately, Night is Coming succeeds because it embraces a unique philosophy within the strategy genre. It is less concerned with building a permanent kingdom and more interested in telling a story of survival against impossible odds. The constant threat of displacement gives the experience an emotional dimension rarely seen in colony simulators, making victories feel earned and losses feel meaningful. Its combination of survival mechanics, settlement management, and folklore-inspired world-building creates a memorable experience that stands out in a crowded genre. For players who enjoy atmospheric strategy games with an emphasis on survival and long-term planning, Night is Coming offers a promising and distinctive adventure. While it still has room to grow, its core ideas are executed with confidence and provide a solid foundation for future updates. It is a game that understands the power of mood and tension, delivering an experience that remains engaging long after the sun goes down. Rating: 6/10
Skvela hra .

Mas Night is Coming me fez sentir um completo amador. ⚔️ O Desbalanceamento Militar (A Era do Feiticeiro) Quando a economia finalmente flui, o combate toma a frente. O problema? O balanceamento é gritante. O Feiticeiro (tier 2) quebra o jogo. O sucesso torna a experiência banal. Porém, a chama apaga rápido.

nice. much better than demo.
