Good fun game can get to top after a few hours of grinding (Dont use loans your go into instant debt)
A great mess from a good concept. This game is about as interesting as a piece of stale bread. The tutorial is nonexistent, there is no meaningful progress you can make and my god there are so many technical issues. - terrible performance: this thing simply kills your pc which makes it barely playable (I'm guessing it is some memory leak issue) - If you want to play on 3rd speed you can say goodbye to about half your income compared to 2nd speed - Destroyed an office with employees? To bad you might as well fire them, since you cannot place them anywhere and they just exist in a state of limbo... somewhere... - And have you heard of month 0? Apparently it's a thing! - boring: becomes monotone after just a few hours, there is nothing new you can do + good idea: a tycoon game centered around a news company is very exciting, there are so many things to examine... too bad this idea has been wasted
Really bad didnt have a clue what i was doing
This one will be short. I'm going to recommend it but for a specific crowd. Achievement hunters. It's extremely easy to get all the achievements. In 10 hours I almost have all of them. Personally I lost interest after the 10 hours. The game does appear to be abandoned. There is a bit more control than from what I can see in the other reviews but once you get the idea of what actually makes a ton, you can almost practically make a very crap news paper and it'll still do well. Main trick I seen is don't make AAA papers in the beginning, slowly work up. If you make a ton of AAA type style news papers and than say you have 10k people that buy it every week (yeah don't do daily) and later you make one mediocre one, you loose a LOT of people. Timing your articles correctly and not accepting some bonus' actually can help you depending on the frequency of your paper. Personally I come out with more a magazine style. Usually once every two weeks or longer. Of course you have to build up some cash first before doing anything like this but even in the beginning reducing down to once a week on say Monday or Tuesday I've noticed has a larger impact. Especially if you have the correct article journalists and you focus on a specific format that works well with each other. I can't remember at the moment but going Science and Technology I believe worked pretty well. Again, recommending but for a niche player. Good for Achievement hunters looking to pick up a few extra without much effort or time. Only other is someone just bored and a $7 rainy weekend play through that you'll likely never pick up again afterwards.
Don't waste your money.
i know its abandoned but its still a good game
