About

In News Tower, dive into the chaos of 1930s New York in a management tycoon game where you build and manage your own newspaper.
From the Great Depression to the brink of World War II every Sunday brings a new deadline, and every article is a strategic decision. Between editorial dilemmas, newsroom breakdowns, and political pressure, you’ll shape the future of your newspaper to start your media empire!

Start with a blank floor and shape your newsroom from the ground up. As your newspaper grows, unlock new levels and transform each one into a fully functional hub of journalism. From printing stations and compositing desks to the legal corner for damage control, every workstation is key to keep the presses running.
Smart layout choices: walls, elevators, pneumatic tubes directly impact how efficiently your team works under pressure. And because morale matters too, add coffee machines, posters, and the essential indoor green plant to ensure your employees’ well-being!

Reporters, photographers and janitors without forgetting the unexpendable ads salesperson… Lead a diverse team across 30+ unique job roles each with their own traits, needs, and expertise.
Juggle hunger, focus and logistics to maximize productivity. Unlock dozens of upgrades from gramophone to slot machines, to turn your dingy tower into a prestigious workspace. A happy newsroom is a productive newsroom, especially when Sunday is always just around the corner.

Each week begins with one goal: getting your edition ready for Sunday’s deadline. Assign leads to your reporters, choose your editorial approach, influence public perception through your chosen tone and tags, and compose your newspaper.
Cover key topics like Crime, Politics, or Sports, and refine your story’s angle to match your editorial line. Well-researched articles or eye-grabbing headlines, will you aim for respect or reach?
Every choice impacts your readers’ perception, reactions, and sales. Nail the mix and profits soar or miss the mark and you risk backlash, lawsuits, or courtesy visits from the mob...

Four major factions partake in the city’s power struggle: the Mayor, the Mafia, the Military (in 1.0), and High Society. They’ll push their own agendas and offer shady deals in exchange for cash, influence, exclusive rewards, and vital new connections across the Big Apple. Whose truth will you print, and whose secrets will you bury?
Not everyone is in favor of freedom of the press…

Publish your newspaper across NYC districts, from Harlem to Wall Street. Each borough has its own reader profiles, preferences, and rewards. To grow your subscriber base, tailor stories to local tastes while staying ahead of two aggressive rivals: the Empire Observer and Jersey Beacon. They’ll steal your precious scoops but by targeting the right interests, you can win their audiences and become New York’s most influential publisher.

好评给到夯,意外触发全球排名hhh 就是物资运输差点意思,后期加纸张比较繁琐之类的....如果优化一下这类的反馈就完美了,甚至还可以增多一些挑战剧情加大特殊事件触发频率什么的出DLC
I wasn't sure that I would enjoy this one when I first bought it but quickly fell in love it with it. Very much a "Just one more week then I will go to bed" type beat. The tutorial made the game a lot harder than it actually is so don't let it turn you off the game. I quickly lost my first tower and but once I started a new playthrough the game was much more enjoyable and easier to succeed when working at my own timing/progression. My only complaint is the level of customization available to your newspaper and what I mean by that is that when I started my 2nd tower, I wanted to make it a sensational gossip mag, which isn't practical for story progression. You really have to cover every topic/every alignment in order to progress in the game. It would be nice to be able to have more choice in your style of newspaper and actually pick an aligment and be able to fully progress the game if you wanted to instead of having to cover everything.
You can tell alot of care went into making this game! I love management games and this one definitely stands out in the category, definitely not too easy but not frustratingly difficult too. I played this game a while back and just redownloaded it recently and noticed some recent changes in the game, they added more content and its definitely working in their favor! Worth the purchase for sure!
muy entretenido la verdad, me gustaria que tubiese un modo edicion para elejir modificadores de partida o cosas por el estilo pero bien
Estuve jugando muy enganchado al principio, pero se queda corto muy rapido. Se vuelve repetitivo
PLAYING ON STEAM DECK DOCKED WITH MOUSED AND KEYBOARD Highly addictive. The gameplay loop is simple to learn but always keeps you on your toes. Laying out your paper and then printing it is very satisfying. And that is before you start mastering combos and matching tags. There are upgrades, but unlike similar games, it does not feel like a grind to get to them. Everything feels natural. Some of the tips could have been better. A few times they just amount to a throwaway line. And it does have some long loading screens. Overall, this is a fantastic game.
Muy muy enganchada ando con el juego
A ONE OF A KIND GEM. It keeps the player busy. It makes you think. It makes you plan. It teaches you a little bit about journalism. It is a blast putting together Sunday paper combos with many articles that have real historical connotations. It is challenging and satisfying modifying your building's layout for optimum efficiency and beautification. Games like these are really what keeps gaming interesting. You will find nothing like this on console and it scratches that itch for gamers who are looking for a new experience. It is also quite pleasing to look at and it is easy to overlook the amount of detail that went into the aesthetics of the game. The music also strikes the perfect balance, complimenting the era the game is set in and it's not obnoxious or intrusive as is true for most games. I score this game 96/100.
This game really sets you in 1930's NYC. The clothes, the headlines, the style and technology. oh! and the music!! I love the music!!
前面部分蛮好玩的,但5年就差不多称霸了,后面略嫌无聊。以及搬运工不会主动搬运食物板条箱去教会的车上,不知为什么。
