Nothing amazing but it has a few really good levels. A fun way to kill a few hours if you're into platformers
10/10 An old-school 3D platformer, just the way we like it. Good gameplay Fun
New Super Lucky's Tale Nota: 8/10 Um dos melhores jogos de plataforma que já joguei.
A pretty fun platformer The movement is pretty tight The level design makes great use of the given moveset The artstyle and animation is pretty nice The base game is a bit on the easier side but the post game levels does included a lot of challenging levels Overall enjoyed this game a bit
This is better in every way compared to the original. It's like a remake of a game that doesn't need one. I wonder why it exists. It's easier than OG because the controls and camera are much better and precise. If you haven't played original, play this one instead. If you have played the original, this is still like a different game with same story characters, the levels seems to be totally reworked.
This a very casual platformer and collectathon. It is for those casual players that want to collect everything without sweating too hard. One of the more under appreciated platformers out there.
New Super Lucky’s Tale is one of those games I mostly associate with my girlfriend, and honestly, it is adorable. It is bright, cute, colorful, and has that classic 3D platformer charm that feels easy to love. You run around as a little fox, collect things, explore levels, solve light puzzles, and do the kind of wholesome platforming nonsense that makes a game feel cozy without being boring. Watching my girlfriend play it made me appreciate how charming it is. It has that simple, playful energy where you do not need to overthink everything. You can just jump in, bop around, collect shiny things, and enjoy a cute little adventure without the game demanding your entire soul as payment. The worlds are fun, the character design is sweet, and Lucky himself is ridiculously cute. It feels like the kind of game that knows it is meant to be cheerful and approachable, and it leans into that. It is not trying to be some massive, dramatic, emotionally devastating masterpiece. It is just a fun, polished, feel-good platformer with a tiny fox and a lot of charm. Sometimes that is exactly what you want. New Super Lucky’s Tale is wholesome, lighthearted, and genuinely cute. A very good little girlfriend game, and I mean that with love.
В целом игра мне понравилась. Весёленький такой незамысловатый платформер. Но Hat in Time понравился больше.
New Super Lucky's Tale is a good remake, but it just feels like they wanted to do more with it, but had very little time to see it all through with its varying degrees of retools and practical resets in its levels and mechanics. Would I recommend playing it? Definitely. Is it better than the original? Yes. Should you play the remake instead of the original? Well... it's complicated. Outside of it being almost a different game altogether, the original had a plan all laid out practically from scratch, which means that Playful had more freedom to create what they wanted. When it came to remaking it, while a lot was improved, it also seemed to miss the point of a couple of things here and there, which seems odd since they were both made by the same developer 2 years apart from each other. So here's my recommendation: Play the original before you play the remake. They're both good, but playing them in that order will hopefully give you an easier time understanding what does and, more importantly, what doesn't work as well given the context of both games' limitations in mechanics and level design and how they relate to what the player is able to do. But if you only want to play one and that's it, that'll depend on what you're looking for. If you want to see the original vision with binary movement speeds and lots of freedom to interact with the tangibility of the platforming, then play the original. The DLC is free, too, so you don't need to worry about paying extra for anything. If you want something easier with a completely free camera and has a few more ideas in play, go for the remake. I would like a real save button please. I like auto-save. It should also be there. But I should not need to go live my life only to see a "your progress may be lost" like I am kicking my PC until it shuts down from sadness and depression. There is no reason not to let me save at least any time in the hub world. Fox guy can jump okay. He likes to dig and I can dig that. I'm not sure why they made NSLT there was already SLT. NSLT is superior but would be know that if NSLT was not released. Running around on all 4s was interesting in SLT. What if the cats were the main characters and the foxes were the villains. I don't think it would be any different. Why are the Cats ninja but the foxes are just foxes. Give them CAMO and huge guns that can only be used off camera. I hope someone makes a platformer with a mascot that's toad. He would be confused with a frog by players but he plays like a toad so he is terrible at jumping and easily eaten by pelicans or cranes or monkeys even giraffes which is funny because its really hard for them to reach anything on the ground with their mouth. Also in NSLT you collect giant coins. What do they need them for? Why are they so huge? Where is the bank that you can deposit these coins in. Its got to be the size of a planet. Next time on reviews I wrote; Geese... or Gooses... Silly or not? You decided by reading my decision.
