its-a good one!
This game is okay, just not my cup of tea. Here are some devnotes I took as i played. Bottom line: it feels good and seems to have good unlocks. It is an emotional story that may captivate young audiences. Ctrlr or KBM? - Both but some UI elements require Ctrlr Keybinds? + No, it uses perset button Layouts. they are good enough Issues and Resolutions + Button layout selection UI is confusing or doesnt work as intended. i couldnt tell what key did what because of the way it is displayed. Pros + Nice audio in the menus + Simple 2D movement (2.5D graphics) + Toggle setting for auto aim + Cool ""360deg alpha strike"" type move with RTrigger + Some projectiles destructible some not + The level select screen is an interesting 3D model that the camera zooms around to select (changes visibly and satisfying after beating each 'world') + Level recap screen + Forces positioning with continuous enemy fire + Shield prevents frustrating instant deaths + Sad story that clearly means a lot to the developer Cons + Auto fire + No settings in the gameplay menu, main menu only. + Levels loop and get harder instead of having a linear progression Notes + Pie chart type meter for enemy health (only appears when targeted) + You can spend currency to retry with more health and dmg (2nd time is free) + Some enemies only take damage at weakpoint + Some enemies stop firing when they get hit + Incentivises/forces you to get close instead of fighting at range + Some enemies force you into defense (like firing a an airstrike that makes you shoot down the incoming missiles instead of doing damage at that time) + Upgrades installed like Hollow Knight with an increasable cap + Enemies behave differently based on proximity
Amazing game! The story is interesting and the art and soundtrack are beautiful! There are a lot of unlockables and different items to experiment with. This is a 10/10 game, 100% recommend!
