Never Let Me Awake

If we had a middle option, this game would definitely be that sort of recommendation from me. It's not the worst game ever but it's not fantastic either. It's just an alright game. It does what it wants to do fairly well and then it's over. I thought the door code was really bad. If you look at the pieces of paper you pick up, the numbers should have been reversed from the code that you actually end up entering (the last 3 digits you enter are actually on the left side of the two halves of paper you find which indicates that they should have been first in the sequence of numbers but they aren't). They also end up shoehorning some Cthulhu elements into this game along with some ridiculous 2001: A Space Odyssey moments and the whole thing just seemed really unnecessary and cheesy. There was no big "Oh" moment at the end of the game it was just a gigantic WTF followed by "Huh?" when it ended. Despite it's drawbacks, the actual gameplay wasn't terrible and I did find myself wanting to complete the game despite my issues with it so I suppose I have to recommend it since it was (at the very least) able to keep me entertained enough to want to finish the game and see how it all ended. I thought the morse code puzzle was neat. I did end up liking that one once I figured out what you had to do. The enemy and the enemy AI is pretty bad. It's definitely not going to be nominated for any awards lol. And the sound the enemy makes is terrible. It doesn't sound like any sound anything should ever make. This was a tough sell, the beginning was great but I really felt they gave up at the end of the game. It took me a good five minutes trying to get into a vent, then later in the game you couldn't crouch down to go under it? The monster was great, from far away he reminded me of pumpkinhead. My issue was that he didn't interact with me and even after he killed me there is a part where he is in a hallway completely ignoring me as I pass him by. I also had the problem where when you entered in the correct code a door wouldn't open, but I was thinking you had to do something else in order to trigger the code to work....my theory anyways..... Then after you do some serious "Pen and Pad" work to get the next door opened you literally just walk through hallways and creepy areas without any jump scares or monsters. There were some serious opportunities for jump scares and monster interactions..... I really wanted to like the game because the beginning was good & gave you chills, but at the end they literally have you waiting for the next cut scene until you end the game. Местами интересно-сыроватый хоррор! Основной мой осадок и печаль, что потратив около двух часов игры, затем перестало работать сохранение! Меню во время игры, какое-то недоработанное, непонятно сработал клик или нет! Конечно, минус того, что нет русского языка, хотя и без него все интуитивно понятно! This is not a good game - bugs and performance issues. It screams for a Remake.

it was fine untill you loose your stuff and then cant hardly see nothing cant get it back unless you have a save and when you load ur save if your behind a door that you have to take off the wood you cant get out was good but please fix i rage quit ill come back when its fix if there was a maybe button ill give it a maybe untill its fix
