Shadow integration may be accompanied by unpleasant sensations, such as anxiety, sleep disturbance, increased muscle tension, sleep paralysis, shortness of breath, heart palpitations.
This process will be painful, but it can bear blissful fruit in the form of harmony of spirit, body and emotions - integration and merging of repressed parts of the whole,
not accepted by the ego

Information / Review English
NEUROZA falls into the 2D hidden object genre, developed by Sons of Welder and FM Simple Games Studios.
Gameplay / Story
Carl Gustav Jung is the founder of analytical psychology within depth psychology. His work cannot be understood without incorporating the relationship between the ego and its core personality, the self, into psychology. The characteristic hand-drawn graphics with their highly symbolic style complement the overall impression and shape the mood of the game world. Your task in this game is to find hidden objects on the map, some of which are too well hidden and difficult to find. Once we have found them all, we progress in the story.
Pros
+ Paranormal phenomena + Attention to detail through hand-drawn concepts + Hidden object scenes + Dark graphic style + Atmospheric background music + Multiple languages available + Achievements
Cons
- Collectibles are sometimes too well hidden
Conclusion
NEUROZA combines attention to detail with puzzles and a dark visual experience.
NEUROZA
Beneath its minimalist mechanics lies an eerie, thought-provoking experience that uses hidden object gameplay to explore the darkness within. The visual design is raw and unfiltered, the music intoxicating, and the emotional impact far greater than expected for a 1-hour game. It’s not for everyone—some will bounce off its brevity or aesthetic—but for those who enjoy abstract games with psychological undertones, this is a hidden gem worth experiencing in one sitting, preferably with headphones on and lights off.
Delving into the human mind... :o

Introduction
NEUROZA is a psychological horror, hidden object game developed and published by Sons of Welder and FM Simple Games Studio. You take on the role of a young woman who is suffering from depression, ultimately leading to her death (or perhaps, she is already dead and reliving past trauma from when she was alive :o). The story is told through the use of several scenes. Of course, since this is a HOG, the gameplay is the main focus. There are a total of eight scenes, and the objective is to find the indicated number of keys in order to unlock the scene to move onto the next one. You're given a maximum of three hints in case you get stuck on finding a key. Each scene also has a few secret items, such as weird-looking hearts or stars. Lots of Steam achievements are available, but they won't count towards a user's global total until the game is out of "Steam is learning about this game".
Review
It's no surprise that there are lots of game genres on Steam, and HOGs is certainly among one of them. Thus, it makes finding unique games among a genre difficult although certainly not impossible. I've enjoyed games by this developer ever since a friend introduced me to one of their games. When NEUROZA was offered, I knew that I had to play and review it on the sooner side. XD When I played the first scene, I was surprised to discover that there is a story. Even though it's narrated solely through pictures rather than words, it's definitely present. Based on the store page description, the story takes inspiration from Jung's psychological teachings, delving into the subconscious and exploring dark topics, like depression (which must never be taken lightly). I love it when games narrate stories like this, as pictures can speak 1000 times louder than words. However, I know that the gameplay is probably what a lot of people are curious about. I like that there are several scenes and you have to find keys in order to unlock their doors. It speaks quite literally and metaphorically. Also, there are a few secret items. With the keys, I was able to find all of them without too much trouble, but each scene has three hints in case you're stuck on finding any, so it's best to use them wisely. As for the secret items, the scenes don't indicate how many there are. I had to randomly click on things until I figured out how to actively search for the secret items. I would have liked for there to have been a counter for the secret items, like with the keys, but this is a minor nitpick. As for achievements, I was able to obtain all of them at the time of this review. If I have to bring up one other criticism, it's that I wish there had been a windowed mode option since I prefer to play games in that mode. Again, this is a minor nitpick. In regards to the art, it is amazing. The backgrounds capture that theme of darkness and psychological disturbance really well. They can be mildly disturbing for those who want tamer content, so it's best to keep that in mind. At any rate, the backgrounds and items are drawn well, and the use of colors, having the right contrast of white and black with splashes of pink, is just brilliant. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3471295287 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3471295530 With the music, the tracks are great to listen to. Like the art, the music captures that whole feeling of depression and psychological disturbance, going down that dark rabbit hole, really well. The tracks are a perfect accompaniment to the backgrounds.
Conclusion
Would I recommend NEUROZA? If you're a hidden object fan and not afraid of exploring darker themes, then this is definitely worth checking out. It stands out, and I like that there are HOGs like this one that aren't afraid to explore more mature themes. Granted, if you're looking for a tamer-themed HOG, then there are plenty out there and this may not be an appropriate fit. However, I do recommend giving this a look. Finally, I would like to thank Sons of Welder and FM Simple Games Studio for the review copy. This game definitely caught my attention in all the best ways, and I hope that there will be more future HOGs like this one. ^^
For more detailed, fully complete, high quality reviews like this, please follow The Introverted Gamer, prioritizing heart and soul always. ^^
The most packed hidden object game I have ever played. Not only does this come with 8 levels, they each contain unique artwork pieces, all hand-drawn and incorporating art style and technique such as mixed-media art (which I only just learned the name of 5 minutes ago) or semblance of it, you get the point. Eitherway, these art pieces all tell a story for you to interpret. Some surreal and uncomfortable for you to look at that you become psychologically involved to find the meaning behind it. Not only do all levels contain these, they also each contain original tracks, lasting up to 5 minutes, all of which are a banger to listen to, which goes a long way from trying to convert you to the story behind the images you're looking at. If you're a fan of electronic music, you must buy this game alone just for the soundtrack to listen to Seriously, what more do I need to mention for you to consider purchasing this game?
A solid visually appealing and atmospheric hidden object game! The art looks awesome and it's fun to search for the keys because of the smooth UI, although collecting the other secrets can get quite difficult due to lack of indication regarding the amount of secrets in each level. The trippy visuals and ambient music offer an immersive surreal and kind of ethereal vibe. Overall it's a pretty nice short experience!
While hidden object games can be easily found, I have not found another developer that is as unique as Sons of Welder. With an amazing synth/dark ambient soundtrack perfectly accompanying the game in the background, it truly pulls you in to it's unique oppressive environment. I feel this is a game that needs to be played to be experienced, as there is so many little unique secrets and stunning artwork that words can't describe. This game feels like you are delving in to the diary of an obsessive doodler. Every piece feels intentional, yet chaotic. An absolute bite size treat of a game. Put some headphones in, turn off the lights, and enjoy the madness that is Neuroza. I was gifted this by a friend, and am delighted to be able to share in this experience. Thank you, again.
Another psychological horror hidden object game, similar to its predecessor AMEN, find keys to unlock disturbing artistic drawings. This time with a theme of mental disorders and acceptance of trauma, perhaps? At least that's how I understood it. Make use of the deals and bundles with it.
