TL;DR: The game is okay, the story is catchy, and it brought a refreshing gameplay into the Neptunia-series. A solid game, but I recommend only buying it while it is on sale. (==) Neptunia: Sisters VS Sisters is quite a rebrand in terms of the RPG-styled Neptunia games (there were other titles that somewhat matched this style; for example: Megatagmension). It did not entirely disband the turn-based battle style, but it was merged into a "limited" free-roam system, which was... unique, so to say. Every single action you do has a set of cooldown that makes you think how you fight with the enemies. Although you could possibly counter it with "disks", and you would be fine, the original intention was to effectively penalize all heavy hits with a window of letting your character being spread like a butter. It also introduced a moderately okayish AI battle buddies that could think on the setting you assigned them to (which was later improved in Neptunia Game Maker). It also brought back AP (a.k.a. action points) from the original Neptunia-series (not the Re;Birth ones) that limited your actions, which meant that you either had to switch at some point, or spend them wisely in a solo run. SP is also switched to "Tac" that only let you do one skill per character, more likely to fit the special moves in this battle system. Story-wise, it is more or less serious, with a pinch of Neptunia, but it does stand for its own. It brings up hope for the players in a desperate time, while trying to defeat the antagonist, with each character bringing their own personality. I recommend beating the true ending for this game, as you may not expect what happens next. The game's performance is all right, I have not seen any stutter nor noticeable input lag while playing, but Planeptune (outside of the tower) was HELL. My PC was only able to manage 30-40 FPS while free roaming(!)... I am guessing it either did not get a proper optimization or there were assets everywhere. That is the only problem so far, yet, as I have mentioned, it held up okayish.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
