You won't need a haircut where you're going... mostly because you're bald. Inspired by Earthbound, Undertale, and other alt-RPGs, Nepenthe is a hand-drawn game made of dad-jokes and existential dread. Also cookies. Lots of cookies.

I think it's safe to say I'm the biggest fan of this game there is.
Honestly a really impressive game, pushes what I thought could even be done in RPGMaker. So kudos to the dev, hope to see more from them soon.
Story: It lacks depth and I don't feel invested, even after I obtained all 3 endings and explored around (including crack on fake trees in Myway). Gameplay: I played on "Story" mode and it's as easy as advertised. So I just walked around most of the time and solved a few optional puzzles. Visual: The pencil hand-drawn style is the best aspect of the game. Audio: Fairly good choice of free music/SFX. Other: The native SteamOS/Linux version works well enough, but Steam achievements don't work at all. I also faced a bug where a member of party isn't shown (no head or HP bar) during battle, although I can use the action normally. It's not as exciting/good as I hoped. I definitely would rather choose neutral/information, although I decided to choose positive since the price is lower than $1 on sale.

Very Sans like, one big Nepenthe coming up
I like it.
It forces the player to read a gratuitous number of dad jokes in order to get a few bits of currency or something, which is a little infuriating. It has elements which seem precision-engineered to frustrate both neurotic and forgetful people and I get a headache just remembering it even though I played it like a year ago. But, you know, not in a bad way. It's not the first indie rpg I'd recommend, but it's good and has some unique points to it that are genuinely pretty great.

Short but seems to have a bunch of mysteries outside the three endings
