EA Retro-futuristic 3D TD + synthwave + level designs = Listen to chill music while taking out enemies. Make sure to think of tower placement in 3D. Challenging levels and skill tree customization.
The universe of Neonverse Defenders is original, uncommon in TD, the game is challenging my skill. I recommand
An interesting and very competent Tower Defense title. Picked up on sale, otherwise it might have passed me by - there were no reviews. Had I seen the SpecOps review I probably (unfortunately) would have given it a miss. That said, in retrospect I would have been happy to pay full price. There is a good Tutorial to introduce you to the basics and I would suggest playing each of these 6 levels a couple of times to let the information sink in. The game has a mine of information (you just have to dig around a bit) so don't let it pass you by. This is not an easy game (at least for me) and I ended up setting the difficulty level to Easy (there is a Beginners) to help me through and increase my stats. A "combined arms" approach is very much needed and it may take a couple of goes to get through each level. The graphics are good and the music is not totally annoying. Looking forward to ploughing on as, amongst other things, the mazing is getting very interesting.
