Neon White is really fun. Finishing the levels is very satisfying. I will talk a lot about my reasons I didn't finish it and what bits felt off, but I want this to be stated: this is a great fast paced 3d platformer. Very unique and very addicting. In the first half of the game I had a blast. I liked that I could solve the levels slowly, landing on each platform etc. Keep the tempo how I want it. But the longer the game goes on the more time we spend airbone. And at some point getting silvers and golds feels like the only way to finish the level - because there is no space where you could land, readjust and take your time. You need to keep jumping, swinging, and killing monsters before they kill you. Other levels that felt way different from the rest of the game were the boss levels. They were way longer and felt differently designed from the rest. Because of that I never wanted to replay them. The story is uninteresting. Maybe it's jist me, as I haven't watched anime in a while, but I can't help but cringe seeing woman characters asking the male ones to touch their tits. There is a button to automatically skip dialogue so it sounds like the develper knew how little engaging the dialog is. Besides the levels to play there is a lot of different screens to go to which are basically more dialog. It does feel like Neon White was supposed to be a different game, but everything was pointing towards the platforming being more interesting. I think it could've been majorly simplified and not make you get out of the zone as much. Having that said, the core gameplay is really solid. But the early levels will remain my favorites. I didn't finish it because the game simply got too hard and unplayable on a controller (I mostly play while travelling).
Incredible. Simply incredible. This game takes me back to the days of playing console platformers in my youth, but it still manages to do something fresh and fun. And I see criticisms of the dialogue and story, but I actually enjoy them?

It's extremely good. Gameplay is super fun, story is enjoyable with charming characters. Optimizing your times is extremely addictive and satisfying. An extremely solid indie game well worth your time.
fun parkour game
This game is perfect for people who feel like they are losing their passion for video games. It's something new, exciting and something that you probably haven't experienced before. It is the perfect game for people who always wanted to get into speedrunning, but couldn't decide on a game and never went on with that idea. This entire game feels like a speedrun. It makes you feel fast, even if you are a complete beginner. You don't have to be a pro to enjoy it. The story isn't that great, but you can skip the dialogues if they annoy you. This might be my first game on Steam which I completed 100% and I had a ton of fun. Highly recommend it!
I am speed.
A quality platforming game that is easy to pick up and has plenty of depth to master. Levels feel thoughtful and intentional, and as a player you get the impression that if you can think of a way to solve the room it's probably possible. Impressive cast of voice acting too, really happy to hear Steve Blum as the lead.
Good game. Pacing is good, levels are fun and rewarding to replay, story kept me hooked, this is a good game.
