Great classic game from the flash days but I am giving a negative review is because it's very short and overpriced (aka should be free like the flash version). Ways to improve the game: - More Levels - Level Editor / Steam Workshop - More Colours - Different Environments
I beat it in 16 minutes, the price is not worth it. Edit: a level editor + steam workshop could go a long way for replay value
It's a little jank, the tricks often don't register properly, but it's a lot of fun and surprisingly challenging. I'd say $3 is just a bit steep, but they added another chunk of levels and the dev seems active. Pick it up just to support them and the very nostalgic Armor Games. Edit: 6/16/25 The devs have added yet another pack of levels! If anything, buy this game for the awesome dev who keeps updating this lil game. $3 is plenty worth for what you're getting and what you're supporting.
edit: A couple of new levels were added, now I feel like it's worth it's price. It remains a short experience, but it is a good one.
I never played the original flash game, but as a commercial release in 2024 it's hard to say that this is very fun as it feels more like an unrefined Trials HD. I do like the color switching mechanic but it's way too easy to end up on your back from flipping.
Trying to play this with red/green colourblindness is.... not fun.
Just as anger-inducing as the original 10/10
I'm new to the game as I didn't play it back in the day. I don't know all the tracks or have the muscle memory but I can echo what some other reviewers are saying in that this game can be pretty challenging. However, once you hit that sweet sweet flow state it is pretty fun. Your mind becomes the car and toggling the colors becomes your ultimate survival instinct. I often times found myself trying to get in an extra flip here or there for style and then instantly regretting it.
Original better than this game
The base game is as you remember it and the bonus level pack is pleasant. Worth a peek if you have fond memories of the original.
