NEON INFERNO is a hybrid side-scroller and gallery-shooter where the action takes place in both the foreground and the background. As warring factions battle for control of a dystopian New York City, you enter the fray as an assassin for the Family -- a notorious crime syndicate determined to eliminate its rivals and dominate the metropolitan battlefield. Rendered in beautiful pixel art and backed by an evocative soundtrack, Neon Inferno delivers a stylish, modern 2D action experience with cyberpunk flair.

I love seeing the resurgence of the run 'n gun genre and this is a great example. It's a mix of regular run 'n gun with something like Wild Guns. You need to juggle combat on two plains and it can get pretty hectic, but the controls are perfectly responsive. The visuals and audio make it a delicious feast of violence. Highly recommended, especially considering how cheap it is!
Взяли идею из старой ♥♥♥♥ Tracy на Sega Genesis и сделали на этой основе киберпанковый экшон от которого выпадает прямая кишка местами. Отличная, достаточно изобретательная игра, пусть и не слишком длинная. Если нужен толковый Run'n'gun, то надо брать. Благо, игра ценник в небеса не задирает.

Mixing run & gun with gallery shooting might not be everyones cup of tea but i liked it. Great pixel art and good soundtrack. More on the short side unless played in hard or arcade mode.

If compare to metal slug Neon inferno could be a little dissapointed but it do have it own unique for how enemy interact can say pretty smart but they do fail in some map design that doesn't let player to understand where is the limit hold on and where can stand lead so some not happy life lost for no reason the game pretty short but I can say it worth the monney spend at least for me the art style is pretty amazing it fit with the music a lot just that it feel kidda overwhelm for me and the game kidda fast action too make you cannot focus in thing to shoot if there no enemy mark attack they kidda gonna blend in the art style too and ofc no lag from the whole run so me happy :)
lo recomiendo para aquellas personas que no tengan problemas con los juegos arcade de poca duración, eso sí, durarás mucho tiempo perfeccionando tus estrategias (al menos en mi caso), debido a lo anterior solo diré que no esperen una historia profunda, solo son balazos y superar tus habilidades con cada sesión. para los desarrolladores: tienen un buen juego, sería genial si agregaran algún modo que alargue un poco más el tiempo de juego como algún modo supervivencia o unos cuantos niveles extra. Es un juego para pasar un rato corto la verdad, valió la pena para mí.
Great concept, incredibly beautiful pixel art style and solid controls. The story can be overlooked, but the core gameplay is a lot of fun. It can be finished in about an hour tho. 8/10
