Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
Unfortunately, despite this game's great atmosphere, it's so uninteractive that I can't recommend playing it. There were so many times something spooky would happen and I'd want to do something about it, try to contact someone on the walkie, explore documents in search of a code, anything - but it would just lead to nothing. For example: there's a relatively early event where someone suddenly starts banging their head repeatedly on your window. This seems like a notable event that you should probably do something about, but you can't click on them, they don't react to you opening your door, you can't call anyone on your walkie to tell them about it, and nothing on your desk does anything to change the current situation. The only thing you can do is continue to file reports, and after filing enough of them, the event just... ends. That's it. That's all you can do. Filing reports is all you can do in most situations, honestly. This is expected to some extent (the game is literally called Last Report) but it's hard to justify when the plot is kicked up to 11 and you're still sitting there looking at documents. The reports aren't that interesting to file, anyways, since nothing forces you to file under pressure, so you have all the time in the world to get the report right. Sometimes, the game seems like it's going to introduce a new mechanic to spice up the filing process, like finding sectors on a park map or warding off monsters with your flashlight, but they're dropped so quickly you might forget they were ever introduced. The few true puzzles the game has are esoteric and frustrating (I missed part of a code because I
didn't shake a polaroid and therefore didn't get the true ending
). I tried clicking everything, read through everything I could think of, but apparently I just didn't look hard enough. On top of all of this, the plot is just kind of thrown at you, with several threads introduced and then never fully explored. The whole experience, both mechanically and narratively, just feels like "Stuff Happens: The Game". I can't bring myself to completely hate this game, though. The art is fantastic and carries most of the experience, and honestly, I don't hate filing reports. I just wish there was more to it. Sadly, right now, the game is just... mediocre.
I think this game has two issues that prevent me from giving a thumbs up. I feel like the game escalates the creepy elements too quickly, and the gameplay gets stale similarly quickly. Scares such as Henry or much of the later computer scares fell flat because they felt predictable and like they weren't a step further than anything that had already happened by that point. By the end of the first playthrough, I was already tired of the report mechanics to the point where I declined a second playthrough and simply looked up the true ending (which btw is a little disappointing in and of itself). The game gives you three things to look for on the reports, but doesn't develop this by adding anything new or messing with the loop in a meaningful way. In contrast, something like Papers, Please is able to keep a similar document searching gameplay loop fresh over a longer runtime by changing what the player has to look for in a way that this game does not.

I guess I'll open with how I don't understand any negative reviews since this game was so damn good and cozy. You've got tasks to do, people to talk with in person, a walkie talkie, occasional visitors, cams to scan, info to read and even a cup of coffee. Just needed a TV and a dog or cat. A couple of things.. when they mentioned people missing, they should've changed the cam maps so you could "report" them and get some type of reward or bonus. And I wish you could walk around the cabin and outside a bit. Plus the game never seemed to explain how the hell it ended or the secret codes.
Derivative, devoid of any interest in either character or plot, and at times unintentionally funny. "You are the chosen one and the destiny of the world depends how well you perform your 9-5 job". Please.
When I got the "It is close . . . be aware!" report I heard a sound IRL coming from my bathroom on my house and since I live alone I almost shat myself. Nice game almost gave me a heart attack.
The game feels a bit unfinished but I really liked the art and story.
