NEO: The World Ends with You

IT WAS AMAZING!!! I really liked The World Ends With You - Final Remix and so I was really pumped to play NEO and see all these old characters again, along side some new faces as well. The story, the character design and traits, the music, the gameplay and the overall style of the game was INCREDIBLE! There were so many awesome twists and turns, so many scenes where it had you at the edge of your seat and a lot of laughs and tears were had as well. AND SO MANY RELATABLE CHARACTERS TOO, LIKE YES, ME TOO NAGI!!! But really, this game makes you think about so many aspects of your life and how your world and easily change around you. While it might seem like you have so much time ahead of you, your life only truly starts with you. Once you've decide to start making your own decisions, speaking your mind, making friends and standing up and fighting for what you love can you truly make the most of your time and make it special! This game really put something that may seem so simple to understand into perspective through the story and characters. I HAD A BLAST... PARDON THE INTRUSION BUT IT'S TIME TO REMEMBER!

Loved this game!! Characters were super likable and entertaining, combat was really fun, soundtrack is fire. Really enjoyed it!

No idea what this (very low-budget) game is about after 30 hours. Started skipping all the dialogues a long time ago because they are painful to read. The gameplay is somewhat fun but becomes very repetitive very soon. Worst in-combat camera I have seen in a long while, and the lock-on is even worse, always focusing on anything but the enemy you want to focus on. The RPG elements are ruined due to the menus and UI being a pain in the @ss to navigate. Overall, and as a massive Kingdom Hearts fanboy, this game is mediocre. I really wanted to like it but I unfortunately cannot see anything that it does well. Will keep playing but I don't know how much longer I will be mentally able to stand it.

已通关，收集成就中 剧情：跟前作高度相关（这里的前作特指ns上的最终混音版，只玩过nds和手机版依旧有些地方看不懂，没有ns可以看视频云一下，我就是这样的，啥时候把带新剧情的ns版移植到pc上就好了），没有前作那么惊艳，结局机器降神（迫真），不过也还行 画面音乐：画风和前作一样非常潮，你往建筑的方向走会看见它们从地上爬起来，像鱼眼镜头一样，可惜没法调视角；bgm大多是全新的，前作的bgm需要去商店买，而且只能在菜单里放，相比前作的战斗曲，本作的战斗曲有些是比较伤感的[spoiler] 毕竟前作死亡/消失的基本都是陌生人，本作倒是有很多不得不和熟人战斗的情况 [/spoiler] 食物：美妙世界系列的食物系统是永久加人物面板的，所以都有一定的限制，前作是绑定现实时间（前期）；本作是必须全队一起吃东西（不能定向养成某角色） 战斗：这个游戏最大的缺点，战斗系统很有特色，但是不好玩，上手难度很高，而且有时候不知道为什么换不了人。还有估计是因为前作的2d改成了本作的3d，所以怪的数量砍了很多，还出现了很多明明一模一样，非要占两个图鉴的怪，你好歹换个色呢[spoiler] 还有就是这作的大体型怪（大象，暴龙还有其它吃了巨大化buff的噪音）很恶心，直接免疫失衡，导致一大堆击飞/挑飞类的徽章只能打小怪练级 [/spoiler] ui：说实话，感觉这作的ui有点差，不谈实用性，光视觉效果就给人很乱的感觉。实用性更是一坨，衣服和徽章的排序方式有好几种，但只能切换不能自选，而且没有按编号排序，尤其是徽章页面，甚至没有满级/未满级徽章分离 一些小吐槽：1前作和这作的剧情跳过都是快速进行对话，本质上还是要看剧情，而且如果对话里有音效会明显的卡一下，做真正的跳过很难吗？2菜单没有首尾相连，你想看后面的怪只能按住下键，一不小心就超了；3不显示哪个章节有boss噪音，说是有boss战的章节就有boss噪音，拜托谁能记得那么清楚啊；4前作让人开秘密报告还知道给点提示呢，这作完全没提示啊，认准了玩家收集其它道具的时候能顺便开是吧？

One of the most fun games I've played. i wish it had a proper Ng+ with higher difficulties though. Black Cat Ensemble goes HARD.

The first world Ends with you had a better story. The battle system is lots of button mashing. This game feels like a mix of Atlus Devil Survivor, Kingdom Hearts Battle system and Hip Hop soundtrack. Sadly the story is bad. There is too much dialoge. They repeat too much, often talk too long about mundane things. There was a day where a special item was sold at a store and it felt to me like they talked more than 10 times about how much people where standing in line in front of the shop. The battle system is not complex. Collecting Pins is fun. You controll 4 characters at the same time that all have different attacks and you need to spam attacks at the enemies to win. So its very chaotic. I didnt feel it difficult to just avoid attacks by just constantly moving. I believe the most fun out of times game you will have if you love an grindy RPG that gives you lot of stuffs to collect. Because there are over 300 Pins to collect in the game. And you can try all their skills out and max their levels. Also shops can be upgraded and there is a friend system where you can do quests for other characters in the game. So there are many thing to collect and upgrade. For people that like that the game gives you a lot to do. It has also some interessting mechanics. You can reduce your current level temporarly, which makes your livepoints less, to get better enemy drop rates and higher loot. This mechanic is very interessting. Because it is a take a risk reward system. If you lover it a lot and still manage to survice you get tons of money for each battle. Which you than can use to buy expansive food that increases party members stats or new cloths and level up stores. This seems like high risk players could easily get very overpowered early on. This mechanic and because I like the artstyle and this kind of game, are the reasons I will continue even trough I give it a bad review. If you also like grindy RPGs I would recommand you also try this game out. If you play more for the story I would recommand try something different. There are so many games with similar storys where people play a deadly game. For example: Devil Survivor Overlocked, Zero Escape 999.

this game is the definition of a hidden gem, so much that i wish i could go back in time and play it on its original hardware, the nintendo ds!
