Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers
You can view my review & fall gameplay here: https://youtu.be/QRZB6UUiqoQ So I was excited to play this game. I saw that it was a movie tie-in and thought well, they must have put forth some genuine effort in making the best VR experience possible (on their advertising budget) to get us excited and want to watch the movie it's named for. After all, they want to make a profit on their product. Now that I think about it, that was very silly and naive of me. Of course they didn't. This is a bad game. I know it's free, but I can't recommend it. It's boring and not fun. It's a shooter. It's technically not a wave shooter (although it kind of feels like it at the end). You teleport from one hallway to the next. There is no other form of locomtion or snap or smooth turning and no settings / options of any kind. The visuals actually look nice for a free to play game. However, it feels like a lifeless world. There aren't many interactions. The only one that comes to mind is picking up the guns or cubes and shooting the jars. And you jack in at the very end ... which takes you back to the main menu. Not before you get in a repetitious loop of summoning this demon from a cube and shooting and repeating whilst expecting something to happen at the end of all the cubes only to find it out that .... nothing happens. There was no point to any of it. You can also watch a very short trailer of the movie on the main menu. It's so brief that I have no idea what the movie is about. After playing the game, I kind of don't care what it's about. Rate 4/10. I know they say that bad news is better than no news ... but I don't know if that's true in this case. I think I would have preferred this movie to not have had this bad turd be my introduction for their product.

You know what doesn't make crap B grade movies better? Failed, B grade VR exclusive tie-in video games. Which is what NEKROTRONIC VR (aka NEKROMANCER VR) is. This is "free" because it's basically an advertisement for a bad movie. How bad? 39% on Rotten Tomatoes. Ouch. This advertisement for the movie isn't doing much better. To defeat the purpose of this being an advertisment, and to aggressively shoot themselves in the foot, they made this VR exlusive which dumps the available target audience to a tiny fraction (less than 2%) of the millions of gamers on Steam. I don't think I should have to say this, but one of the main goals of advertising is to reach as many people as possible. It's not even a well made VR game, with locked locomotion and very average production quality. Steam is for genuine video games, not adverts.
Nekrotronic VR, son derece sürükleyici bir bilim kurgu shoot 'em up oyunudur. Nekrotronic adlı uzun metrajlı filmden çılgın aksiyon ve tüyler ürpertici hayaletler içeriyor.
Not bad but cant recommend it at this state... No free loco in 2019! What? Some animations are flat.... seems very ugly...
NEKROTRONIC VR is a free to play VR shooter game that is based on a feature film Nekrotronic ( never heard of it ). It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Very Cheesy. Enemy look a little flat. Creepy looking. Try this game, if you like cheesy horror movies. For free I'm not gonna give it a negative review... it's a silly arcade experience with poorly implemented AI that ruins it. The weapons are actually cool as is the art style and the humour of the movie it was based on. Fun little experience for kids and people unfamiliar with VR. For VR veterans dont expect too much (but dont be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and give it a bad review cause it wasn't GTA V with dynamic weather and a map the size of Sydney all in VR all for free. Sheesh!)

Throwback to 2016 VR standards in a very short promo for some b-movie. No possible reason for this filesize, I was almost (but not quite) intrigued enough to go digging in it to see just what the hell was the cause. Not worth the bandwidth or time to download or play.
Storyline is weird... just something not right with the game and control
