If you've found this game to begin with, you probably know already about the developer Lu's output, so know what to expect. Go ahead and play it. It's a cozy minimalist game with an unusual storytelling technique, which is Lu's forte in the medium. It's short, it's 2 bucks. You know the drill. I don't think it's her best work tho. The low angle vision of the cat + the messy map layout + weird controls make for an exploration that's not the most pleasant. I got a bit lost a couple of times. Sometimes I would trigger events and didn't know why. And some of the camera jumps were desorienting. So I was a bit lukewarm with this one. I hope she keeps up this kind of output, but put extra effort to make it more polished and a bit more fleshed out.

This is an intentionally janky looking, surreal game. If that interests you, then maybe give it a shot for the cheap price. The storyline seems to obscure itself even further because there are still scenes and dialogue to unlock once you've unlocked all achievements. The achievements stop about 3/4 of the way through but keep playing until you see the credits. I think this was intentional, to give a resolution only to those that were curious enough to keep looking. The resolution isn't entirely satisfying though, as things only vaguely make sense by the final resolution as opposed to no sense when the achievements stop. The achievements take ~20 minutes and are pretty simple. There's a good guide out there that will help you get any you may have missed but it's easy to pick them all up on your first playthrough if you just make sure to explore everywhere. Interact with anything that looks out of place and walk everywhere. This developer seems to have a bit of a cult following for their trademark weird and short games.
