Nekour is a pretty trippy game, trippy in the sense that it feels like the developer smoked one of their best joints and just started making a game. You play as a cat on a mission to please a god, with simple platforming mechanics. The music is really good, I personally would’ve made the game free and sold the soundtrack as DLC instead. Overall, the game is quite good. It’s short, entertaining, with some moments that feel genuinely cute and others that are just funny. Personally, I’m against the idea of finishing a game in under two hours, unlocking only a few achievements, and then refunding it. If you enjoyed the game, don’t refund it, even if you beat it quickly. Support the developer. Now, if you didn’t like it, then yeah, go ahead and refund it.
This is an interesting game to review. At at a glance, it might look kind of bland but once you start playing it really "GETS YOU." The music is nice and relaxing, the characters who make up the island are interesting to talk to, and the platforming ( for the most part ) is fine. I'm looking forward to completing the game. Highly recommended, Mr. Sweeney. 8 out of 10 for what it is

This is a really good parkour game with a story about weird humanoid cats trying to unlock the bridge to find their god... Not much of a story... the music is kinda relaxing and it actually helps make the parkour part feels casual and relaxing...? The parkour itself is fun, though it's just about jumping all around the maps finding stuffs it's actually pretty addicting and weirdly puts the mind at ease. Kinda wish there were more stages though... like 2 more maps would be perfect imo... Anyway, if you are a parkour fan, this is a casual little parkour game that I am sure you will love to have a go. The characters and graphic design might be a bit weird looking but the game itself is really fun. Highly recommend!
Ok. first off I would like to say that this is a very "unique" idea for a game. Seriously, never in a 1000 years would I have thought to make a game like this (that's a good thing). I love 3D platformers so it wasn't difficult to get a grasp for the game. The controls were easy to use and the game itself ran very smoothly. As for what to add in the future, I would recommend adding some puzzles to complete to make the game more difficult. Perhaps add different items that have their own abilities to help you get past some parts of the world. Maybe like a spool of yarn that you can use to climb to high areas or cat claws you can use to break stuff... just some ideas I came up with off the top of my head. The only real complaint I had while playing was the music at times was very loud. I would suggest adding a setting where you can adjust the music and game volume. Other than that, I really enjoyed this game and I am excited to see what the future holds. It is a very abstract idea and I would love to see that be expanded upon. I also made a funny playthrough video for the game. I will post the link below... thanks! https://youtu.be/cM6JihyQl8w
Very sweet game, I would have rage quit much sooner if it wasn't so cute and soothing. It was challenging, but not too challenging, which I enjoyed. 10/10 would play again
Killing all the humans and starting a cat cult was the right idea
this game brings out the best in me. meow
One of the most well crafted games of our generation period.
I love playing small games like this. A simple, yet solid little platformer. A nice game to play through on your lunch break. :)
