NEKO-MIMI SWEET HOUSEMATES Vol. 1

Lighthearted and entertaining novel that comes up with a bit of drama in the end (don't worry, happy end included). First of all, the game attracted me with a peculiar artstyle - I like the design of all characters. Yet, I should clarify it a bit: I like the CGs, not the interactive models - they are way too shabby and strange-looking, except for the Cacao's model - she is pretty nice and doesn't look like Mint's reskin. But I got used to them for the time being. As for the story - it is a little bit strange in the beginning (generic japanese-style "girl-in-distress-lying-fainted-near-MC's-apartment"), but it grows intense in the end. It contains a lot of religious references, but not that much to drive a player away form this VN. The characters are cute and well-written, yet their relationships seemed a little bit off, especially if the game has the 18+ patch installed - H-scenes occured in totally unpredictable points of the story, except for the last one. Nevertheless, I liked the game and I'm looking forward to seing the next part of the story. Give us more content with Cacao ^_^

怎么说呢emm那就先说缺点吧 1. 补丁后的HCG感觉有点敷衍 2. 中间的部分剧情各人感觉是跳的 有些剧情感觉说完了开头直接跳到结尾 中间没有过程 不过毕竟是第一步理解 期待第二部 优点 音乐 和 角色 剧情的话总体来说是不错的 最后几章薄荷为了救男主违背天使规则挺刀的 神明惩罚那一段得出的结果还是很满意的 就是有些剧情中间过程需要优化一下下 嗯.....期待第二部的到来

剧情还行，就是太短

Take this review with a grain of salt as I've yet to finish the entire game. This game is quite lovely as far as art style goes. The team put together nice looking characters and did some things with the technical design of the characters that you don't see. They really nail moe to a T. The voice actors are all doing their job more or less flawlessly too. The only real complaint I have for this game is in regards to the writing. It just...feels amateurish? Specifically in regards to the flow of the story and the drama placement. I've tried my hand at writing some stories before and this game flows a lot like my early attempts at novel crafting. The characters are well designed besides their psychological reactions to the timeline of events. I'm not sure if this is the first work made by this writing team, however it does feel like it. I feel like...watching a lot of realistic romances would do the writers some good. It was really fast paced even for a short VN. More fleshed out, idiot-proof English patch instructions would be a small help by the way. Cacao feet uuooh EDIT: I've finished this game. Story is OK. I'd buy it on a sale

I want to see the mc get publicly executed. I hate him with a burning passion and I wish him nothing but pain and suffering. cacao is the only one who agrees with me. I wish I could just jump into the screen shake mint by the shoulders and tell her to raise her standards. I hope that in vol 2 mint recognizes her worth and leaves him for someone else. besides the insufferable mc I like the live 2d models and the art and voice acting is cute. I saw another review saying that the writing was a bit amateurish and I agree.

The characters' design are really great. Story is pretty touching. The art is beautiful. Soundtrack great. [spoiler]the free official patch is a must[/spoiler] Major downside is can't go back to certain scenes if didn't save at that point. Would definitely recommend this even at its full price Can't wait for the next volume 9.9/10 for me *Minto sekai ichiban kawaii~

人物很好看但剧情太太太水了，如果是纯爱不建议打H补丁，H剧情插入太突然了，就算是拔作都不敢这么写的，定价高了，通关后甚至还来得及退款
