Need for Speed™ Heat

Need for Speed Heat, does not even launch on Zorin OS Linux, it is very picky when it will start. Otherwise, I played this on Windows 11, the game is greatly fun. The Police are aggressive, and will stop at nothing to stop you. cars sound great. Story is a little interesting, the best part of the game is the racing, and the heat mechanic.

The physics in this game are a hate crime. There is zero concept of weight transfer or real tire traction. Trying to drive a clean racing line gives you massive understeer, but the second you tap the brake or gas (depending on your settings) a scripted arcade drift snaps the car sideways. It feels like I'm driving a 2 ton stick of butter. It is an absolute garbage driving model, and I hate it. Other than the minor detail of the driving being terrible in a driving game, it is really fun. Strong recommendation on sale! :)

Ein perfektes Spiel wenn man seinen Controller hassen tut, Vor 5 Sekunden warst du noch fröhlich in der Nacht so rumfahren um nach Rennen zu suchen mit deinem heat Level 5. Und 5 Sekunden später tun dich die Polizei in dem Spiel so hart auseinandernehmen dass du nicht mal weißt was gerade passiert ist. Außer du bist Skyline Fahrer, dann gibt es nichts was dich aufhalten kann außer eine Wand im Rennen. Also ja ein sehr tolles Spiel wenn ihr Limits im Spiel herausfordern wollt.
