Fun game, garbage PC optimization. Runs fine at first, but after a few races it starts stuttering, and eventually the audio starts crackling too. Still not fixed after all these years. Save your money.

Итак, вот я наконец и закрыл нфс на платину. И мне правда есть что сказать об этой игре. Начнем с того, что ночью игра просто конфетка: гонки на неоновых улицах, неплохой (местами даже интересный) сюжет и управление машинами - одно удовольствие. Но вот днем графика говно eбанoе. Про местных копов могу сказать только одно - это просто ♥♥♥♥♥♥: они слишком eбнутыe, окружают со всех сторон и не дают даже пeрнуть. В итоге по моему мнению: игра не такая плохая какой ее считают местные ценители олдскула. Время не стоит на месте, тренды тоже меняются. Если не нравится - играйте в старые части)

This game actually good but in the same time i hate this game how work playing in EA launcher which is the most worst launcher game ever , fix ur launcher GREEDY company!!!!

Car customization is excellent. The story is nothing special, but the gameplay easily makes up for it.

the "laggy cutscene" is this something about nvidia drivers? or windows 11? so many people having same problem w me for a long time.. weirdly enough cpu and gpu usage can spike to 99% for long period of time so weird i only just want this game works fine but it isnt btw idk why the graphics looks somewhat outdated and kinda jaggies/pixelated i play on ultra 2k monitor btw maybe thats the problem like i should play on 1080p monitor or smaller inch monitor idk

Seven years after its release, (for me) Need for Speed Heat still remains as the biggest what if's in the franchise. The core gameplay reflects much of what open-world arcade racing games at its time, especially where the franchise's direction was going. Much of the story is painfully less memorable and more cringeworthy than how Payback was despite its generic protagonists. Speaking of the short and unmemorable story that the game has to offer, I knew the developers wanted to do more content and post-launch support to compensate the game's short storyline. With EA being EA, they really had to shut down Ghost Games a few months after the game's release, preventing the game to achieve what could be its fullest potential (even Payback still has something to offer even a year after its release with the abandoned cars scattered around the map seasonally). Unlike Payback, the game gives you (almost) full creative control on the customization, so you can ♥♥♥♥ around in off-road Ferrari 458 Spiders and drifting Ford F-150 Raptors if you feel like it. Unless you are absolutely unemployed (or don't have friends to play this game with), the game could bore you pretty quickly with its grindy progression, which ironically made it perfect for short gameplay sessions between taking a shower and going to run your errands. I do not recommend buying this game full price like any Need for Speed games from its time, but please do get it when it's on sale. All in all, if you're looking for an arcade racing game with janky physics and close to no post-launch support, this game is for you. Still fun though.
