So the gameplay is fun, if you like classic arcade shooters. The feeling I got was something akin to a Contra or a Space Invaders, but in a 3D wind tunnel. I can honestly say it felt like just a spiritual successor to shooters of old. The guns are responsive, the platforming is straightforward, and the split attention between the two makes for challenging gameplay that only takes a few minutes to understand, and yet each time I attempted the first mission, I felt like I was getting better. However, there are a few things I want to warn folks about before buying. Firstly this game is HIGHLY motion sickness inducing. I have never gotten sick playing VR, and this one gave me some of my first stomach flops, plus anyone watching me play found it hard to watch even in 2D. So beware. Also there are some areas of the game that left me feeling a little frustrated. There's no good way to track your progress on the levels (yes there is an end) and it can take 5-10 minutes to reach the end of a level in my experience. The score is keeping track of the baddies you kill, not your distance, so you can feel like you've made it much farther, yet have 50 points less than you did the last attempt, all because the score is randomized (because the levels and enemies are). Lastly, there doesn't appear to be any settings to change things such as volume, controls, or color/lighting, which can play a huge part in the gameplay for some people. A minor annoyance for me, but it could be game changing for people who prefer to tweak settings to their preferences. As a note on development, while the game is easy to pick up, a short "training mission" would have been very useful, even just one that pops up the basics like "push this button to hop to the side" and so forth, I had to fail a few times, pop back to the main menu, fail a few more times, really study the controls, and then fail a few more times before I finally had it down, and I've been doing a lot of VR stuff lately. TL;DR It evokes the classic arcade shooter feels of old, but with a lot of motion sickness and sans a few game features we've all started to take for granted in the modern era.

Really enjoyed this one up to a point. The difficulty spurs you on until you get 20 minutes into a run on Level 2 to get obliterated unavoidably and have to start again. If inexplicable death is the order of the day, fine. But we need checkpoints. Don't add death at the end of a long run.
