This game is so close to actually being viable, but it has too many problems. The biggest problem: there is actually no win condition. You are told to win you destroy the enemy core, but there is actually no way to kill it. The second biggest problem: you have to mine finite resources, but the opponent can spontaneously generate anywhere, which is annoying, and then begin to create very large, hard to kill enemies at no cost, forever, and you lose when you run out of money, which happens very fast. The third biggest problem: your bots can't attack enemy structures at all, while the opponent can easily kill your buildings very quickly, which forces you to have to micromanage with your ♥♥♥♥ guns, which have mediocre upgrades and take forever to kill anything. There are also pathing problems, enemies come out of the ground in piles in the center of your base, and if you shoot enemies in transit, they increase speed by 10x. Friendly fire is also on, which is a problem because your bots are dumb and stand in the way of your gunfire half the time, and resources float around your face, which actually eat your bullets, and then continue eating all subsequent bullets for quite a long time even after they are gone. Also, the tutorial is missing most topics, and it took a really long time and multiple losses before figuring out the structures need batteries, and even longer to figure out where to find batteries. Additionally, having to move around and physically move through portals sucks, and the only way to learn about sticking your hands through a portal and clicking is by reading negative steam reviews, which is also dumb. Making things worse, it looks like this game has been dead for about 4 years, so none of these things will ever get fixed.

Well made, but a bit shallow. Controls a bit a frustrating to use, like how the menus appear based on where your hand is so you can literally open it above your head or inside yourself. I'm not sure how much strategy exists at all in the game, other than maybe balancing what units you build. The tutorial covers the bare minimum, and there's no more information about what different units can do. Clearing areas is worthless since the enemy can just spawn anywhere it pleases, so you have to leave a unit there to keep an area clear, or else it'll get cancer growths that I think produce enemy units, but I can't confirm that since there's no information available about enemy units or structures. Blocking access to branches doesn't stop the enemy from spawning taking over those areas, so the game has nothing to do with positional control. I don't think the enemy uses resources, as far as I can tell it just spawns units non-stop without collecting anything. Seems like the only way to play is to rush resource collection points, build up a big area as quick as possible, and rush the enemy command center. Otherwise if you go slowly the enemy takes over the whole map, and it becomes impossible to outproduce the continuous torrent of enemy units. It's a nice idea, I really want a RTS game in VR, not many options are even available yet, but this doesn't scratch that itch. Oh and you can't save and quit (or well there's a experimental load, but it doesn't work) so be prepared to play until your done or get bored with spawning a single use card by pressing 3 buttons each time and stuffing it into a bot builder to make a single bot at a time. These frustrations caused me to bounce off the game after an hour. If this game gets updated with some quality-of-life updates I'll try it again, I think the core of it is good, just missing elements to make it really worth putting time in.
this is the most "maybe" game i've ever seen. but there's no maybe option, so i'm leaning towards yes. the core loop feels really good, making little dudes to gather crystals, making other little dudes to shoot baddies, flinging frisbees at baddies, ... everything feels good in isolation. you can even buy little hats for your dudes which is 10/10. but moving beyond the basic interaction, it feels really hollow. your dudes suck at pushing or holding ground so regardless of your strategamatizing, you're still going to kill 70% of all baddies with your own 2 frisbees. enemies seem to be able to spawn infinitely and manifest wherever, so tactically cornering the map is also ... pretty pointless. you have 4 dudes you can make, (worker, melee, ranged, and healer) so there's also no reacting or composition. there's obviously a lot of love put into it, the core loop feels great, the design is consistently good, i *feel* the heart put into it, but i think this could've done with a bit more time in the oven.

Fun VR for a little bit. Pretty short Would get it on a sale.
Fun for a couple hours, but overall light on content. I recommend getting it when it goes on sale.
Felt like it needed a better tutorial. Got into an actual game, was lost with all the options and what to do. Maybe having the tutorial be a game, might be a better idea.
Was not a fan of how you move around in the game
Wanted to play this game since I was a kid. Worth the wait 10/10
Great, except for lack of win conditions, gamemodes, and overall content. There is a very tiny tech tree for the enemies, and a slightly larger one for you. Gameplay itself is great, just wish it had more substance, but this game is basically abandonware. Thankfully far, far better than most, but still....
