Nancy Drew®: Danger on Deception Island

Was easy to solve puzzles and clues, still a challenge but overall was fun to play. :)

This one didn't captivate my interest the way a lot of the other games did. Maybe it was the characters or the tasks but I ended up taking a bit of a break from it for a bit. I liked the atmosphere and kayaking was fun - discovering new places with the GPS, getting free clam chowder, exploring tunnels, and the whale! But the characters weren't really that interesting and some of the tasks were tedious like getting stuck with final few clams, tracking down coordinates, biking back and forth and back and forth. There wasn't anything too scary about this one so my score for scare factor is 1/5. Overall game play I give a 2/5.

A classic Nancy Drew game. Very cosy. Not one of the scary or challenging ones.

I loooove this game. The setting is so fun, the puzzles are challenging yet natural, and the characters are so interesting. The music is great, and I'm really just a sucker for anything related to the water, lol. Whales rule!!!

what other game is going to make a food poisoning minigame AND campaign so hard for helmet safety

I wanted more orca :( but the puzzles were less fun and more tedious. not my favorite of nd.

pretty boring. didnt like the mystery or story.

great game. Glad I played it but what in the world is that symbol puzzle near the end of the game? You know, the one where you have to see the symbols on the bottled ship's sails. That puzzle is the hardest puzzle I've seen come out of a Nancy Drew game and I still have no idea how you were supposed to solve it. In the end I had to google the answer but it is frying me knowing that I can't figure it out. Spent 2 hours on that puzzle alone.

I recently began playing nancy drew games, and this is among one of my favorites. The puzzles are challenging, and there's an entire plot point that involves code solving, suspicion, and a liiiittle trial an error. All-in-all, I felt this game's story is really nicely spaced out, and the ending is one of the more satisfying ones. I couldn't help but have a book of suspects until the very end.
