Mystic Melee

I'm enjoying this game quite a bit! The game feels very polished for an early access game, so far the animations, character design, enemies, everything feels and looks very nice and it all fits the aesthetic of the game. Gameplay reminds me a lot of Dustforce which I'm sure this game draws influence from, the movement feels very fluid though the slowness following a dash can be kinda jarring. As for some issues i'm already having with the game, i find it odd that start restarts the level as opposed to opening the menu, like back does, i had to restart two levels already making that mistake, another small issue i had with the game was the second or so it takes to start up again after dying or loading a checkpoint, while it is nice to get your bearings when starting up again I would like an option at least to skip the startup and go straight back into the game to keep things moving, momentum clearly is a major part of this game. Overall I'd say I'm thoroughly enjoying the gameplay thus far and I'm excited to see what the team can do with their finished product.

Игра отличная, в меру сложный (поначалу) платформер, с неплохой музыкой. Есть кампания с таблицей рекордов, несколько режимов пвп с ботами на разных картах (так же и онлайн, но никто не играет) НО! Игра НЕ СОХРАНЯЕТ ПРОГРЕСС прохождения. Рекорды сохраняет. А еще она часто вылетает в конце какого-нибудь уровня. И давай опять всё сначала. И рекорды, набранные в этой сессии, не сохраняются. вроде бы) Поэтому игру я рекомендовать не смогу, к сожалению... Графика, механика, управление, дизайн уровней, музыка: ✭✭✭✭ Стабильность: ✭✭ Сохранение процесса: ✭ (хотя конечно есть хардкорные игры на одной жизни и т.д., но опять же то, что игра может вылететь когда захочет, убивает всё на нет) Общая итоговая оценка: ✭✭ Update: нашел у одного человека, что надо зайти в настройки и поменять профиль со своего на P1. Я же создал новый только из букв и всё заработало, просто, судя по логам, игра не могла создать профиль со слэшами в моём нике. И, возможно, вылетала она по этой же причине, когда я набирал рекорды. Хотя несколько раз я удачно побивал рекорд друга и он сохранялся. Ну, с таким ограничением, можно добавить одну звезду из пяти. Жаль, что приходится при каждом запуске игры все время заходить в настройки и выбирать созданный профиль. Финальная оценка: ✭✭✭ (Рекомендую, но с натяжкой) ps. на 10 уровне Арбории я сгорел и вышел из этой хардкорщины)

This game feels like Smash Brothers got drunk one night and had a blurry, passionate romp with Final Fantasy Dissidia and Street Fighter. The controls well done, the power-up style abilities also add a good helping of variation. Where the come falls short is in each characters' specialization and a very small bit of it's presentation. First, characters are just not unique enough. I want them to have a unique moveset, as it stands they all sort of feel like shades of the same character. There is enough lore about wizards that it shouldn't be difficult to craft some solid unique spellcasters. Second, the presentation could use a little work. I like the pixel art, but I'm a sucker for that stuff. However, the spell animations/effects tend to mask/obfuscate your character's location. It became very easy to lose my character's location... Simply tweaking the spell effects to a be semi transparent could resolve this. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the game! Keep up the good work! More people should play this.

Abandoned game, another scam.

Recently met with the developer for this game and I believe that this game has a large potential to be very good. Even right now, gather 2-4 friends or even go solo in the campaign and you can have such a blast in this game. The dev has insight on what his future updates will be and if he can carry through with it, this will be a game I'll recommend to everyone as a fun party game. Honestly, this game is great and reminds me of games like Towerfall Ascension and Celeste put together and made a beautiful baby. 5/7 10/10 whatever you wanna say. Try this game out, and don't be scared by the Early Access tag as it already feels like a well polished machine.

this game is super cool but underdeveloped. Needs more people to buy and enjoy it so it can get that much better!

This is a good one. The single player game focuses on completion and speed. A little like DustforceDX, not quite as fast paced as Super Meat Boy. It is very entertaining. The multiplayer is a platform brawler. It is well done, though some of the character's moves aren't that interesting, frustrating even. There is so much potential here, with a few more characters and another world or two. Unfortunately, it appears development has stopped. For the sale price, this game is more than worth it. It would be worth full price in a finished state, but as for now go ahead and wait for the sale.
