Mystery P.I.™ - The New York Fortune

I'm usually a HOG apologist and I'll play almost anything, but unfortunately this one is very light on plot and doesn't have the insane cutscenes or voice acting that I expect from the genre. There are about 25 hidden object scenes, and you have to keep repeating them many times in order to beat it. The assortment of scenes you have to complete to finish each level of the game also seems weirdly arbitrary, ranging from two to like, seven? I didn't finish, just getting to the point where I had played all of the unique scenes. Not a terrible game for the pure hidden object aspect, but it failed to keep my attention to the end.

The game starts easy then it gets hard.

Fun basic hidden object game with good definition and objects easily identifiable, although sometimes they blend so well you will how you never saw it immediately. Once completed has additional difference games that can also be played. Final puzzle at the end of the hidden object takes a bit of trial and error. Played with no time limits for a casual and enjoyable experience.

A nice little hidden object game. This series was gifted to me so I thought it only right to play them. The levels quickly grow boring as you repeat them over and over. But, never-the-less, a fun hidden object game.

🙂 Les PLUS: + de magnifiques tableaux (clichés) de New York (Central Park, vendeur de hot dogs, Bronx, fête foraine, taxi, antiquaire, ...) + les très nombreux objets à retrouver (tournevis, rouge à lèvres, panneau, oiseau, ...) + les objets vraiment très bien planqués et fondus de la décor (tant au niveau des couleurs, que des formes, des tailles, ...) + les mots à trouver peuvent avoir plusieurs sens 😐 Les MOINS: - Pas assez de pénalité de temps (25 min c'est beaucoup trop long, il devrait y avoir un mode enfant et adulte par exemple - pas assez de pénalité de clics (quasi aucune pénalité s'il y a trop de clics) - puzzles trop simples: il y a un hack: il suffit de faire bouger les pièces pour voir le puzzle terminé en dessous - au final assez peu de décors (une douzaine) et certains objets sont aux mêmes endroits, ce qui rends le défi moins difficile ➕ JEUX SIMILAIRES La série de "Mystery PI" (genre: hidden objects), le jeu Tiny Lands (genre: "spot the difference")
