Mystery Case Files: Return to Ravenhearst™

This is a fun hidden object/puzzle/mystery game in the Ravenhearst story line for Mystery Case Files. I would recommend playing Ravenhearst and Madame Fate before playing this game, but they aren't 100% necessary as the story gives enough detail to catch people up to speed. There are some darker themes to the story, so I would recommend this for those 13+.

Good story, decent puzzles, takes a few hours to complete so worth the money. The resolution changing is a bit annoying because 1 out of 5 times when I close the game, it does not change back, and it does not "close" the game completely.

Had this game as a kid, got the collection on sale last year so I decided to do a full playthrough of the MCF Ravenhearst storyline and the game is still as entertaining now as it was then. Fun game, easy enough to complete in an afternoon.

Growing up this was my favorite click and find game. It still holds up great 7.2/10

Relaxing nostalgia trip. A wonderful game, whose polish and shine hasn't rubbed away over the years. The atmosphere is flawlessly downcast, accompanied by a phenomenal soundtrack; While the game's puzzles and object scenes are interesting enough to use your brain to a satisfying degree. (With optional hint/skip button just in case.) Even without the previous plot, the story tells itself to a capacity of understanding for a one-off playthrough to make sense. The journal is really detailed too, I enjoyed looking through it. I didn't encounter any issues when playing this, but be aware after closing the game, your display resolution will need to be changed back to your preference in "display settings", if you're running a recent windows version. It also takes a while to fully shut down after closing, but it hasn't crashed, no need to worry (probably).
