There are better and worse Bigfish Hidden Object games out there but genuinely I cannot recommend it. I've had fun with this game for a while, but it was a struggle after a while. Why is that? Well. The quality of story, design, puzzles start dropping midway, and get boring/annoying. No well written story or plottwists to keep you invested. Throughout the whole game, you can detect so much inconsistency in design, like it was made by AI. For example, inconsistent lighting on objects and weirdly cramped rooms with weird sized objects. You can look at the preview photos on the store page and you'll get an idea what I'm talking about. I'm sad to see it, because older games such as <Shiver: The Vanishing Hitchhiker> (My fav one out of BigFish Games) have really good design, shadows, lighting, and atmosphere, throughout the entire game, and there are no out of style puzzles. So to sum it up, that feels like it had been made with real creativity and designers, by humans. I would never play this game again, I'd rather replay an older game from BFGames. Negatives: - Sloppy design (AI sus) - Weak story/atmosphere - Declining quality of design/story/puzzles over the game - Could be longer - Price-quality ratio Positives: - Collectibles - Somewhat versatile Hidden Object puzzles - Extra chapter (+1 additional half barebone chapter)
I liked the puzzles.
I recommend this game. It was fun to play and had a few twists and turns I hadn't expected with the ordinary HOPs games.
