My Night Job

A retro (early-mid 90s) inspired beat-em-up with a horror theme. For the low price of entry I enjoyed this ride. Not something i'll play for hours on end but once in a while i'll load it up and play a round or two. It's a fun romp for less than $5 7.5 of 10 - recommended

Great casual game. Amazing to play on a long bus, train or plane trip. The visuals are good of the genre and it is challenging, but not in a annoying way. Recommended to pick up during a sale for around 5€

Fun to jump in for a few rounds.

This game is fun. It's got lots of references and easter eggs, has short tense gameplay (you should finish a game in half an hour), and ... I dunno, something else good. Rule of 3 and all that. The core gameplay involves juggling your need to rescue civilians (a must), keep the monsters from destroying the house (or you lose), and staying alive. It creates a pretty compelling challenge. It has it's issues, it is often difficult to know what or how to do something. For example: after rescuing the 100 civilians I was given C4 to plant (to destroy the house, but yes, letting the monsters destroy it will still lose the game. *shrug*) but I didn't know where to plant the C4 and so I lost because I spent too much time wandering around and the game doesn't give you much breathing room. The game also doesn't tell you where to use the key, or what to do with the ghost collecting slimer (ghost busters reference). There's also a lot of references and details you might want to enjoy, but the game doesn't really let you have the time to explore. I guess 'there's too much good stuff to see and not enough time' isn't the worst criticism I've given a game, but there it is. In short, the game is fun and it's cheap.

Cool arcade game to play in short sessions. Every room is filled with reference to horror movies of the past with the main hero being a surrogate for Reggie of Phantasm. Get it.

Очень похожа на пиксельную игрушку с Sega или типа того. Приятное управление, незамысловатая сюжетная линия, понятный гемплей Музыка утомляется спустя 10 минут, звуки унылые и в целом сама игра начинает надоедать очень быстро. Можно сюда добавить мешанину на экране, от которой быстро устаешь. Я бы не рекомендовал эту игру за полную стоимость, исключительно по скидке. Палец вниз не ставлю, потому что считаю игру не плохой, и она исключительно на любителя.
