A comparación de su predecesor, aquí se nota un mayor cuidado en las historias: siguen siendo absurdas, pero están mejor pensadas y resultan más entretenidas de seguir. Ya no se sienten solo como ocurrencias sueltas, sino como pequeñas ideas que saben a dónde quieren llegar. El menú es más agradable visualmente, aunque sigue teniendo ese toque bizarro que ya es parte de la identidad de la saga. No intenta volverse “normal” ni pulirse de más, y eso se agradece. Se siente raro, sí, pero conscientemente raro, no torpe. En general, el juego demuestra que los desarrolladores entendieron qué fue lo que funcionó en My Name Is Mayo y decidieron construir encima de eso. No reinventa la fórmula, pero sí la afina: mantiene la simpleza de los clics, la premisa absurda y el humor sin vergüenza, pero con un mejor ritmo y presentación. My Name Is Mayo 2 Posiblemente mejor que el 1 Tanto en la estética, en las historias y.... también en mecánicas? Si el 1 era solo historias en base a "Clics" , este cuenta historias en diferentes mini-juegos y , como no, también en Clics. He incluso (Manteniendo esos hilos típicos) las historias evolucionan en cuanto a narrativa y a escritura. My name is Mayo 2 da un paso significativo para la trilogía en cada aspecto; Logrando una secuela mucho más interesante.
