i didn't even have expectations for a game about being a robot vacuum but this managed to subvert them anyway. it's very short and pretty easy, the ending was a bit abrupt within the story and predictable as a cliche, and being gleefully congratulated after listening to a mental breakdown somehow made things even more disturbing. however, it was decently well-written, the VA's delivery was solid, and it's generally a solid game. 6/10, would recommend
Excellent story told. Fun mechanics. Double whammy to my head and my heart. Would recommend wearing headphones. (I could not hear the audio for the first part of my playthrough but once I could the story came alive.)
A roomba is a roomba even in a dream... I was not expecting such dark story at all. The game was short, but I had a lot of fun playing it. Really cool project, good job guys! I will definitely be waiting for the hands washing game.
Decided to help out Doom Wolf, as it was cheap, and why not support someone who gives you entertainment for free. It's... not really a robot vacuum sim, and is very dark. If you're just looking for a quirky sim, look elsewhere as this is more of, as Doom Wolf put it, an Art Project than a sim. Still, fun little game, even if it's very very short.
I thought this was a gonna be a cute game but the story, short as it is, is very dark. So fair warning... Pros: I liked that you got a 2nd faster vacuum Cons: I disliked having to redo the levels as the faster vacuum. Should just get new levels to do.
I forgot to leave a positive review on this when I played it last year. It was nice to have a story told around me through some dialogue and environmental stuff. Trigger warning for self harm but I understand why it's not listed.
Actually a really nice concept. The gameplay is simple and allows the player to focus on the background. Could see this evolving into something bigger later on or in a future project. Question for the dev. Can you beat My life as a robot vacuum without vacuuming?
I would recommend this mainly because I know the person who made it. So yeah, bias. What I would recommend is that the game should be optimized more because my PC was thinking it was playing a Cyberpunk. Optimizing is done in many different ways like if you're using Blender for your assets you should lower the poly count drastically. Not sure if that is the reason for my PC working extra hard but I feel like it should be mentioned. I do like how the game is mostly made for but I think if there were more room for the player to think about the story or find secrets then it'll pull more people to the game. This is advice for the next game you do make and not add more to this title.
Good game Got the bad ending but felt better after playing. :) Love you -Mom
game is fun and the voice acting is scarily good. It's almost like an audio novel but instead of it being a blank screen or stock footage you "walk around" to keep you busy whilst the story plays out.
