Warning: Asset Flip!
My Jigsaw Adventures - Roads of Life is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", CCS, took the Jigsaw Puzzle Creator Kit Unity Store tutorial/demo/game asset pack from the real developers, Allebi, changed the name, put some art from some guy on it (they credited him but it's unclear how much, if anything, they paid the guy to use his art for their asset flip) and dumped the result onto Steam. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. It gets worse... "Jigsaw Puzzle Creator Kit" has also been shamelessly dumped on Steam by other asset flippers apart from CCS:

"My Little Prince - a jigsaw puzzle tale", asset flipped by Mens Sana Interactive
"Alice in Wonderland", asset flipped by Mens Sana Interactive
"How Buddy’s parents met - a jigsaw puzzle tale", asset flipped by Mens Sana Interactive
"Lucky and a Life Worth Living", asset flipped by Mens Sana Interactive
"Magic Lessons in Wand Valley", asset flipped by Mens Sana Interactive
Take a look for yourself... these are all reskins of exactly the same game! Now... in this case it's pretty obvious the Jigsaw Puzzle Creator Kit is intended to be used this way, so calling it an asset flip is a bit harsh! Well, yes and no. See, CCS never credited Allebi for basically writing their entire game for them. Taking someone else's work and not crediting them, pretending you made it instead of the actual creator, this is unethical, it's plagiarism. Even worse when you try to take gamers money for someone else's work, trying to mislead gamers into thinking it's yours!. We also have to question what value value there is in this. Reskinning someone else's "game" doesn't create a product of value for gamers. The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Jigsaw Puzzle Creator Kit" is just an asset pack for doing a simple jigsaw game, combined with art assets ripped off from some artist on the internet, and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game. The "developer" here probably spent about half an hour dropping images onto the game template, dumped it on Steam and called it a day. How is this real game development? How is this good for gamers? Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from CCS.
Nice decent and relaxing puzzler. Quality is better than all the free jigsaw puzzlers.
Gra warta kupienia Piękne puzzle z piękną w tle zmieniającą do tla muzyką Miło sie układa <3
Pros: - Good artwork. - Three different puzzle shapes. - Several different sizes to choose from. - Choice between timed and untimed modes. Cons: - Very short game. Took me 1hr 30mins in total to get all achievements. - The story between the puzzles is lacklustre and uninteresting.
I'm don't think jigsaw games are really games or should be on steam if they don't add some interesting stuff to it. These devs tried to make it more interesting with a story of which you unlock a bit more after each puzzle you complete and there are plenty of options for the puzzles so you benefit from playing a game instead of doing it irl. However the story is short and weird and I 100% the game within an hour so I can't recommend this ith a €4,- price.
Un jeu de puzzle avec une histoire narrative. Différent paramètre pour ajuster la difficulté. Une bande son magnifique. Que demandez de plus?
I like that it's not to difficult and it's enjoyable..
Très sympa, les puzzles sont vraiment beau et il y a beaucoup d'options de jeu.
I tend to play a lot of digital jigsaw puzzle games, I came across this one a couple weeks ago or so and instantly appreciated the art style. Now that I purchased it, I can say I don't have any regrets and I will be getting episode 2 soon enough; most likely after I complete this one. ✔ Gorgeous pictures. Smooth control. Pieces snap together as well as to grid. Options to display grid and/or image in the jigsaw frame while working on the puzzle. 2 modes; normal (relaxed) and challenge (timed+limited hints) 3 shape options for pieces (traditional, mosaic, and arrow) 5 options for number of pieces ranging from 28 to 220. 18 unique jigsaw pictures and credit to the artist when you load up the game. 💚 31 achievements. Not too many which is always nice. Accessibility Can zoom in on puzzles. 8 language options. Volume sliders for music and SFX Full screen and windowed mode. Window mode can be dragged at player discretion. Option to center selected piece on mouse. 💭I think my only issue is that the shuffle button isn't obvious what it is at first and the pieces sometimes hang over the jigsaw frame after using it. Overall, it's fantastic and 100% recommend it to any jigsaw or puzzle collection. ☕My curation page where I primarily comment on games and DLC I've played. Adventure, puzzles, and RPG's mostly, but it's not limited to that.☕
episodic instead of a long continuous game: can be played for a few minutes at a time if you need to take a quick break or need some stress relief. the story goes from fantasy to weird [no spoilers], but that rather adds to the charm of the game. If you are expecting a literary masterpiece, nope. but actually very poetic. the paintings are excellent and nicely detailed but not overly so. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and am looking forward to more from this group.
